I bought this hammock for my chinchillas and they loved it! A lot of comments saying it isnt sturdy, but it is very sturdy and the straps are thick. Totally recommend.

Super comfy
I purchased this hammock not knowing if any of my fur babies would use it. We received fast and my husband hung it and our kittens got in it right away. I ordered another one that day and our bigger girls love it. So we have two now. They enjoy them. Not as thick as I thought they’d be but good enough to hold 2 10lb girls and 2 4lb kittens.I think they were a pretty good deal for their price.

Our cats LOVE hanging in this hammock
We thought our cats might be afraid of getting in to a hammock, but after they tried it the first time, they were hooked. Sometimes they lay on their backs, their back legs sticking straight up, and their front legs hanging out the sides, just like a person would lay. They love to snuggle down in them, and these hammocks have become their favorite bird watching spot. Simple to install, and will give your cats hours of lounging pleasure.

Works great for awhile… metal attachments aren’t sturdy
I’ve bought several of these. They fit great in cat condos which I use to foster kittens that need to be “quarantined.” I’ve not had a kitten who hasn’t love relaxing on the hammock. Unfortunately, I have two qualms with this product:1) Durability. Because I foster these needs to be sturdy because they are heavily used. In between litters (or more frequently) I need to wash/ bleach these. I’ve not figured out how to take the metal attachments off (or if that is even possible), so I def can’t dry these. I air dry them. I’ve had several times where the metal attachments break off while the kittens are using them. KITTENS (so under 3lbs).2) They definitely lose their softness/ collect cat hair. So after all the washing and stuff they aren’t soft anymore or really plush. The kittens don’t seem to mind but getting the cat hair out of the fibers is tedious.

Didn’t last a month
I bought these as replacement and one arrived with a hole . It looks like the sewing machine missed stitching it. The clasps broke 2 weeks later on the 2nd one i bought. After sewing one of them and using a zip tie on the other, I can use it for them temporarily while I search for another brand.

Several months ago we bought a large, three-tier cat cage so our cats could enjoy being outdoors safely. It was a tremendous hit with them. Being a true crazy cat lady, I wanted to give them additional comfort in their new habitat. I found these hammocks at just over C$10 and decided to give them a shot because it seemed like they could work with the cage.I received them quickly and clipped them easily inside the cage (which is made by a different manufacturer). They are well-made and very sturdy, which is important, considering that one is clipped at over five feet off the ground in the cage. They have one fleecy side and one smooth side, which will be perfect for keeping the cats cool during summer and cozy during winter. (They love to be outside year-round.)It took nearly TEN days before our more adventurous cat finally took the leap and laid inside one of the hammocks, but that was all it took to sell them on the virtues of cat hammocks. After that first tentative nap, both cats have continued using them almost daily.Highly recommended!

My little bunny absolutely loves this, i dont particularly use it as a hammock. My bunny has a shelf in his enclosure that i wanted to make softer for him. He loves this thing and more often will hide his head under one half and sit his back end over the other while he is resting.
