This resin tree trunk aquarium decoration looks so realistic – the contours match dried wood, with textured bark and bits of peeling away bark. The colors give it depth, with varied blacks and browns give it a realistic appearance for your tank. The sculpture overall has surprisingly substantial weight for its size which means it won’t float away or move unless you have really ambitious snails or larger fish in your tank. The sculpture acts as a wonderful hiding spot for my shrimp and fish, and the different size openings both on the sides and on top make it a great shared space for all of my tank’s inhabitants to enter – fish, shirmp, and snails alike. You could even place a plant in the top hole and from my experience, over time, just like real wood, the roots of your plants will adhere to the sculpture. It’s great value, looks realistic and as advertised, and I’d recommend it!

Looks good in the tank
This is a resin tree trunk decoration that provides a hiding place for fish, frogs, or other creatures. I have it in a shrimp tank. It’s thick, feels sturdy, and isn’t brittle. It’s almost 5.5 inches long and 3 inches wide. It’s U-shaped with an open underside. It’s working well for my shrimp, who are using it as a place to hide. It is very reasonably priced at the current cost.
