Good hammock for outdoors, get Large
EDIT: It’s been a year now. One of the little carabiner clasps recently broke, likely due to outdoor conditions. Considering the price, I think that’s reasonable. I replaced with heavy duty outdoor carabiners, although it may not be enough since it’s still attached to the original cheap metal rings. The mesh is still in fairly good condition, the very center has a tiny hole, but the mesh seems well designed in that the hole hasn’t spread at all (ie. the damage is contained). Cat still uses it in good weather.Orange cat is at least 12lb, and I purchased the larger size (just fits. Smaller wouldn’t have worked at all)Works well, my orange cat is in love with it now and naps there frequently, my tabby is still a bit shy with it. It looks unstable, or small at first because it shifts a lot when the cat gets in, but my orange cat got used to it and goes in on his own now (I put them both in manually the first time to get used to it). So far has held up outside and the mesh seems like good outdoor material.

Beyond my expectations!
My 7 year old sister cats have slept in a “cat condo” in hammocks their entire life. I have always bought the same type of hammock, the lamb”s wool looking ones. This summer I could tell that they were not so eager to get into their hammocks at night and realized that they were probably too hot. I went on the hunt for cooler hammocks and found these. They both LOVE them. They are very light and airy, but sturdy and easy to clean. The price was very good as well. I highly recommend these hammocks.

It looks like an adequate product
I like it, the color the feel the construction, and I can’t complain, but my cat won’t touch it. He’ll need it for the summer, so he had better put his furry fanny into that hammock soon! There’s nothing wrong with it at all and he usually loves his faux sherpa hammocks. It fits just right in his play apartment. I bought him and his sister two of these as they were miserable from the heat last year. I recommend it. Add small carabiners for extra holding power.

It Broke…
I hung this on my cats window porch to act as a little cubby to lay in, but it wasn’t “hanging” per se. The sides were hanging, but the bottom was flat on the porch if that makes sense. I liked that it was thin and would dry quickly if it got wet. It worked well for a couple months and my cats liked it, then one of the straps broke. Given that it broke without real weight being applied sucks, though.

Kittens love this!
I have two 5month old kittens and they both get in this together! I need to get another one. The clasp isnât very good quality but I reinforced with zip tie to add strength and endurance. Good thing since both occupies it at same time.

Cheap clips break under not a lot of pressure
My kitten loves laying in this hammock. Only problem is, the clip broke and my kitten only weighs three pounds. So not that sturdy of a product. Other than that it was great!

Metal clasp broke while cat was in hammock, cat ended up twisted in hammock and almost asphyxiated. Not a great product.
