great seedling warmer!
Iâm really happy with this Seedling Heat Mat set. It works exactly as promised. The mats heat evenly and stay at a perfect, gentle temperature for seed starting, helping my peppers and tomatoes sprout much faster and more consistently than before. Theyâre waterproof, easy to clean, and the size fits standard trays perfectly. I love that it comes as a 2-pack so I can run multiple batches at once. These work great when starting seeds indoors
I’m a newbie. Watched my grandparents grow gardens and can vegies when I was young but always bought plants that were growing and potted. With our economy so screwed up and facing retirement I figured it was time to follow my grandparents lead and do something to insure we have food for the years to come. Flowers are pretty, but you can’t eat them.Great product. Comes sleekly packaged. Heats up fast and hold temps for my seedling throughout the cooler evenings. Its a perfect size decent quality to fit a full tray for seedlings. Temps appear to stay fairly constant as I have a thermometer on it. My greenhouse creates a lot of humidity so its great that the mat is water resistant.

It works.
This heating mat arrives very, whats the word, folded up but it does stretch out if layed flat with something on it. I like it and am using us underneath my seed starter tray. It does not melt plastic and is A-Okay on warming. In fact i sat it outside the other day and it had a little fog on the sides of the plastic, that is perfect for mimicing a greenhouse/starting seeds.

Reallly nice for plants
This 2-pack is perfect for starting seeds indoors, especially for finicky plants like peppers and tomatoes that need bottom heat. They are the standard 10″ x 20.75″ size, fitting perfectly under a normal seed tray. The mats are IP67 waterproof, so theyâre easy to wipe clean after a spill. They maintain a consistent temperature (usually around 10-20 degrees above ambient room temperature) and drastically speed up germination time. My only advice: buy a separate digital thermostat! These basic mats don’t have built-in temperature control, and to avoid overheating the roots or burning the counter, you need a thermostat to safely regulate the temperature.

Ready for winter!
Finally getting one of these to keep growing microgreens and prepare seedlings as temperatures drop. I am using this in the coldest corner of my apartment as a test before deep winter and it’s working swimmingly. The temperature is stable and holds at a decent warmth, my little greens are growing quickly. The wide size fits my seedling trays perfectly. It’s fun that it has all the instructions right on top, but if I could change one thing, I might have it be plain to look more sleek.

Great for plants or reptiles.
These heat mats work great! Theyâre advertised for plants, but I actually use them for my leopard dragons and theyâve been perfect for keeping their enclosures warm. I did run into a small issue at first â be careful if the weather is bad because they arenât completely waterproof. Luckily, the company made it right quickly and I couldnât be happier with the customer service. Overall, Iâm very satisfied and would definitely give this company another try!

Safety Concerns
âNever leave your heating mat unattended in the household. Keep in clear sight.â These are the instructions printed on the mat. This combined with the fact that there is zero thermostatic control and Iâm not comfortable using these mats. Within 45 minutes of plugging in, the soil temp went from 71 to 87; the mat temperature went from 82 to 93. I unplugged it and put them in the box. My greenhouse is in the basement, there is no way I can keep in clear sight. I have concerns over the safety of these mats. I will not be using these and will not recommend.
