I am SO glad that I got this. I have a Blizzard Corn Snake, about five feet long, and maybe about a half dollar or less circumference at the biggest point. I like the T-Rex skull since not only does it give lots of places for him to wrap around and explore, but if he just wants to burrow beneath it, it can keep some heat off of him. I’ve placed mine beneath the heat lamp as a sort of ‘medium zone’ and he adores it; the plastic doesn’t get hot and nasty and is very easy to clean. My only complaint is that you’ll want to look over the holes and teeth for any sharp edges, just little pieces where the plastic mold might not have come away completely. Very easy to remove and file down and a part of just about any plastic reptile item, just doesn’t forget to check! This hidey-hole looks fantastic and sufficiently terrifying when under the red glow of the heat lamp, I’m in love and so is my little man.TL;DR A great size and fantastic details, make sure to check for and file down any sharp edges then enjoy!

Wicked cool – my dragon’s new favourite perch!
It looks awesome in my viv, and my beardie loves to climb onto it to bask. He looks wicked cool preening on this skull with a desert backdrop. The only downside is, since it is small, I’m a little afraid of crickets or roaches getting underneath, as there’s no way my dragon would be able to get them out. Definitely be sure to check it from time to time to make sure you’re not getting a nest of insects making a home down there! Otherwise, this is an awesome addition to any terrarium. I wish it were a little larger, as it does feel a little dwarfed in my 36x18x17 tank, but it’s still totally worth it.

The hermies love it!
Our hermit crabs are fans of this hideaway decor. Perfect for four small-medium crabs to gather under and climb on. No chemical smell, no sharp edges (the teeth are pointed, but not dangerous), and obviously a fab design that’s aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean. Highest recommendation!

Cool for my setup
I purchased this for my 90 gallon aquarium which houses an Oscar. I pre-soaked it for a week changing the water every other day. the finish seemed to diminish but looks good. I put in tank and it looks cool. If you are using this for a reptile or have smaller fish that can hide in it, I would definitely file down the inside of it. There are very sharp edges surrounding the holes of the skull. I don’t see how they sell this with such sharp inside edges that can definitely cut your pet. But for my use, its great.

Cute, but paint chips severely
I love the look of this product, only problem was that I have a blue lobster and also a crab and the paint on this little guy did not stand a chance. Crustaceans aside, even if you clean it gently, the paint scratches off. Which is a shame since it is so cute. Big enough to notice but small enough it’s not tacky. I wish it wasn’t losing all of its paint. Come to think of it, I don’t even think this item is for an underwater aquarium…it might be for terrarium use only…..in which case I would recommend it, since he paint chopping issue wouldn’t become a problem. 🙂

I love the way this T-Rex skull looks. I would say it’s a bit too big for my 10 gallon with all my other decorations and plants but would be perfect for a 20 gallon so I plan on using it for a future project. Definitely in love with it ð

I’m pretty happy with this decoration. It’s nice and thick and fairly sturdy feeling. I haven’t had to clean it yet, but I imagine it will be a little tedious with all the little nooks and such. I only wish that it was a little bit bigger than it is.
