Claus Pohl, a brilliant chemist, started Bio-Groom in 1971 with the goal of creating mild pet hygiene products that were safe for pets and the environment. At the time these products were extremely harsh, so Claus created the first naturally mild shampoo on the market and named it Bio-Groom. We’ve designed our products to clean effortlessly without stripping natural protective oils from the skin and coat.
