SLIGHTLY ON THE SMALL SIDE BUT OVERALL A GREAT VALUE
This thing is very cute! My Bengal cat Raja had one of the El Gato Taco Trucks from Target and for a cardboard cat scratcher used by a very high-energy cat that thing definitely lasted waaaay longer than I expected. However we finally admitted the other week that the time had come to officially retire it. Knowing that my little lady would be devastated by the loss I had to find a comparable replacement for her and so after some searching I decided on this one which I have personally titled “The Groovy Gato Love Bus.” The overall design and graphics are adorable, the price was fair and assembly was very easy (tip: I usually put these types of things together using hot glue just to give them a little extra durability). The only thing I don’t absolutely love about it is the size – I wish it was just slightly bigger and honestly it might be a bit snug for some larger cats but my 9lb girl seems to fit perfectly inside it and overall she seems very happy with her new set of wheels!

Compact Quality Cat Cafe
We purchased the cat cafe. Item arrived quickly & was well packed. It was easy to assemble & very well made-Much better than other cardboard cat houses we’ve ordered. Only drawback is the size. It is smaller than stated. Will work fine for kittens & small cats. However, my twenty pound cat can not fit inside. Our neighbor’s cats will enjoy it and your small cats should too.

The box holding the item is more durable…
I purchased the ASPCA cat house…2, to be exact. Cats love em. Figured we would get fancy and get the 3rd cat a “neat” house. I ASSUMED the 10.00 more tag was for the design and shape, so ok. Later I realized this was not the same company as the one who made the ASPCA cardboard house.What arrived was a VERY sturdy Amazon box wich contained a MODERATLY sturdy product box, which contained a FLIMSY cat house.I mean WOW…It is split up to save space, to get smaller, to ship cheaper since it uses a smaller box. This creates a fold on the bottom. Now imagine your car with a fold in the middle of the floorboard 🙂 Your house…Heck, your coffee table. It is all fine if it’s not moved…but cats throw down, this thing gets flipped, and those SPLIT scratching boards bind up the inside and here I go having to fix it again.This is not going to last 90 days. My carts are too active. This is for an older, lazy, do nothing but stare at your cat. Kittens will demolish this in no time as will cats under 5.I ASSUMED similar density and quality for an item that was 10.00 higher…and I assumed incorrectly.So, if you want reliable..well, more reliable than this, try the ASPCA cat house. Sure they only have 1 design that I can see, but my 20lb cat has been rampaging in one for 2 months and it’s still fine.PS: No matter WHAT you buy, be sure you have packing tape to reinforce the thign and press down those annoying protruding tabs. It gets a 1 star for sturdy, 4 str for appearance, 4 star for assembly, 1 star for carboard layout.

Extremely Small – Not for Plus Size Kitties
I’ve purchased many of these, and this is a cute cat house. However, there are two key considerations that are not clear in the description or the photos. This is a VERY SMALL cat house. It would comfortably (maybe) fit a small cat, under 8#. It also appears to have an “upper deck” which some of them do – this one does not! There is no upper deck on which the cat can sit. There is only one scratcher and it is for the inside of the house.I have an 18# cat who has a very large frame. He cannot fit in the house.I wish these were marked for kittens/small cats and for large/Maine Coon, etc.

beautifully made and illustrated and easy to put together. The only thing is it is best suited for a kitten, and the photos are a bit misleading. My adult cat struggles to fit…. I wish they made a bigger one.

Well I renovated my cat cafe lol! I turned it into an actual treat station for my Bombay feline friend. Itâs a bit too small for our large Bombay who is full grown at about 15 lbs but Iâm experimenting what to put inside it to get him to love it more. It makes a cute cat station regardless and he loves smelling and playing with the ribbons I added. I added serviette for a curtain for a bit of privacy. Iâve only had this for a week so might take more time for him to get used to it. I know it looks pretty torn up right now but itâs still sturdy and inviting to venture in. I prefer it like this for my cat anyway lol!!

This lovely catâs cottage is so beautiful to gaze upon after a long day. I find myself longing to be shrunken by some magic spell so that I could truly experience its charm first hand. I admit that I envy my darling angel kitty that she is able to step inside and hide away from the troubles in the world. I can only imagine how delighted she is to be enveloped by this pleasant sanctuary. I have at times laid on the floor and placed my head in the doorway to get a sense of its whimsy for myself. I am never disappointed to spend an hour or so in this way on a Winterâs afternoon. I have a deep fondness for its old fashioned aesthetic. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves their kitty and wants to provide a life where they can dream of the past. Perhaps of a time when architecture truly was an expression of art. Thank you.
