I Love the Angle of the Brush and the Slicker My Dog Grover Loves
I have a bichon frise who is 15 years old and he has hair. His hair isn’t fur and he doesn’t shed, so when I use a brush or a comb on him, it has to be good quality because my dogs hair is curly.I am happy to say that this brush and slicker brush is the BEST I have used so far and I’ve used quite a few.First, the angle of the brush is perfect. So often you’ll see a simple flat brush and this brush isn’t flat. The head of the brush is angled and it works GREAT on my dog Grover. Second, the bristles on the brush are heavy duty, but they are also small. For my dog, this is a great combo.The hand slicker that you wrap around your hand is also great. This is my first time owning one of these and to my surprise Grover actually seemed to really like me petting him with it. Bichon’s are fussy dogs and so that’s a plus.The price point is good for both tools and I highly recommend this. I decided to not post pictures because the pictures here on the product site are exactly what you will receive when you order.

Great bath brush for pets
I ordered this set mostly for the bath brush. The bath brush was effective in washing my long haired labradoodle. She didnât mind it when used to scrub her well with dog shampoo. It also removes fur as it cleans.The slicker brush did not do as well as other dog brushes that we have used in the past. Her fur is thick and wavy, it just didnât want to easily go through her fur.Overall I do recommend this set for the bath brush especially. Both brushes are easy to clean and arenât too heavy.

Good self cleaning slicker brush.
These brushes work fairly well on the bodies of my cats. The slicker brush is a bit large for detailed brushing around the head, neck and underarms, but it works well for the rest. I got a lot of loose hair off of them. I like the design of the handle on the slicker brush, it’s angled fairly well, but it is a bit thin for my hands to grip. A similar brush I have with a longer thicker handle is a bit more comfortable for me hold for long brushing sessions. This one would likely fit a smaller hand more comfortably. The bristles of the brush do a great job detangling my long-haired cat’s fur. With the push of a button, and the fur pushes right off the brush. So it’s really easy to get the hair off the brush. The quality isn’t too bad for the price. The slicker brush feels fairly sturdy. The bath brush worked well on the one cat I have who likes baths and it was adjustable to several positions, so it fit my hand perfectly. Both brushes are easy to clean.

Good at picking up loose fur
There are two pet brushes; one is more of a normal brush and the other is a silicone brush. The standard brush has metal bristles with white caps so the metal doesn’t irritate your pets’ skin. It has a push in piece on the back to push the fur to the top to clean the brush. The silicone brush goes around your hand. I found the silicone brush does a good job at getting the loose surface hair off and my cats enjoy it more. The bristle brush is better for deshedding or brushing longer fur.

Excellent Quality
I absolutely love this brush! I use it on my mini poodle, and itâs been one of the best grooming tools Iâve found so far. The bristles are firm enough to remove tangles and loose hair but still gentle on his skin, he doesnât squirm or get uncomfortable like he does with other brushes. It really seems to glide through his curls smoothly without pulling or scratching.The self-cleaning feature is a huge bonus, just press the button and the fur pops right off, which makes cleanup quick and easy. Itâs also easy to hold and doesnât slip out of my hand during brushing. After a few uses, I can tell his coat feels softer and looks shinier.If you have a dog with sensitive skin or a curly coat, I highly recommend this brush. Itâs made grooming time a lot easier and more enjoyable for both of us!

Decent simple set of brushes
Decent quality basic (must have) brushes. A slicker brush is a must for longer haired dogs, and it really separates the hairs and makes a nice floofy coat on my poodle mix.

Best For Long Hair Dogs Or Cats
Our dog is short haired so the slicker brush does not work for her. Good for longer haired pets
The self cleaning slicker brush is great for long haired pets. I have used it on my aussie who has LONG withers and tends to get tangles behind her ears and in her armpits. This brush works fabulously at keeping those areas tangle free. The tines of the brush have rounded tips. It also has a button on the back that pushes all of the hair of the bristles.The small curry brush works good on shorter haired pups. It wraps around your hand making it easy to hold. It works great at getting loose hair out of my bigger pup. She loves being brushed by it and leans into it.
