Beardies are Fickle
I got this for my bearded dragon because I thought that it looked really cool and it was different from most decorations that you see out there. This product is made to hang from the top of the tank, my tank has a mesh top though so I tied up the ropes to make them shorter and instead stuck it to the side of the walls.Although I think this looks cool, we are going on day 12 of my beardie acting like this item doesn’t exist. He won’t acknowledge it in any form and refuses to use it. I have tried to put him on it myself but after about a minute, he jumps off and runs back to his current favorite spot (a wood branch).I still give this product 4 stars because quality wise, it is nice and someone’s beardie may really love it. Beardies are just fickle and mine has decided to ignore this item. Perhaps in a month or two, he will lose interest in his branch and will hopefully try this out.Edit: I just wanted to add that I once again tried to get my beardie to acknowledge this and I realized that his head is too big and wouldn’t really fit in the tunnel anyway. So this would probably be good for a baby beardie but maybe not a full grown one.
