Product description

Every Hobbyist Knows How to Keep Their Small Fishes Comfortable and Calm dftghedgdftghedg

With a SunGrow Pack of 50 Mini Almond Leaves, You Can Sustain It

Shrimps, copepods, sparkling gouramis, cory cats, and oscars love it. Some of them use it as a feeding dish. A few hide behind it and take turns sleeping in the shade of the leaf. Some will make a hammock out of it and sleep on top of it. Watch your mystery snail wear it as a hat.

The water in our country ranges from 4.3 to 5.3, and these tropical or freshwater fish want a slightly neutral pH range (6.0 – 8.0). The low pH level can adversely affect them, whereas the high pH level might curl their fins. Even frequent fluctuations in pH levels cause lethargy and stress. The Ketapang leaves from SunGrow strengthen fish scales.

If you have breeding fish, Mini Catappa leaves also serve to provide fish with a secure place to anchor their eggs. These fish create bubble nests and use this floating leaf to create them. Since you are using real leaves, you don’t have to worry about artificial coloring that may be present in bottled form.

If you want to beautify your tank with Catappa leaves, it is advisable that you place low-light plants such as anubias, Java fern, and Amazon sword. Install driftwood so that the fish have their own privacy.

It is ready to use the moment you receive it in the mail. Just place a few leaves in your tank and only separate them when they disintegrate.

Give a peaceful home to your betta — When fish are given a homely ambiance, they tend to grow stronger. By creating ideal water conditions, we assure that they can prosper. The Indian Almond leaves are considered to have beneficial properties and increase fish appetite.
Have a breeding pet? Add catappa — The tropical fishes create bubble nests using a floating leaf to anchor their bubbles. So, if your tank has a breeding tetra, guppy, platies, molly, cichlid or shrimps, just add these leaves and see them anchoring their eggs over IAL. That is a sight to behold.
Benefits other fish and snails too — The tea water has many advantages for fishes like tetra, discus, and goldfish. It is good for rasboras and many dwarf cichlids too. Apart from that, snail owners can benefit from the magical leaves. Giving your fish this ambience calms them down. It imparts color to them and makes their scales firmer.
Smaller leaves, easier portion control — Each packet contains 50 leaves measuring around 2-inches high which is a great value for money. Smaller Catappa leaves make for easier portion control and a good way to slowly introduce your pet to a new surrounding especially for smaller fishes in smaller tanks.
Adds beauty to nano tanks, small bowls and jars — The Catappa leaves from SunGrow are unprocessed so you know what goes into your tank. They look pretty in a nano tank and add aesthetic beauty to your planted tank. You may even add these in individual betta jars or bowls.

Customers say

Customers report that the leaves work well in their aquariums and are particularly beneficial for betta fish tanks, especially in nano blackwater setups. The product receives positive feedback for its appearance, with customers noting it looks nice in tanks, and one mentioning it creates a “jungle” look in planted ones. The size and color aspects receive mixed reviews – while some find the leaves great and appreciate the light brown tint, others note they are very small and colored the water significantly. Value for money opinions are divided, with some finding it worth the price while others consider it overpriced.

Works for fin rot on bettas
Giving this a 5 star review! Our betta had the beginning look of fin rot. I added 6 of these leaves, with dosed aquarium salt to his 5.5 gallon, and the fin rot is gone. The water didn’t turn as brown as I thought it would. There is no smell, and nothing to clean. Very easy, just threw in a bunch of these leaves and my sweet betta looks great after 24 hours! This is a good quality catappa leaf, though the leaves are small and you may want to add more than the amount recommended on the packaging. Made my betta healthy again without having to buy expensive medicine.

    Water color change
I love this product, and my betta does too! It does change the color of the water, but it perfectly balanced the levels in my tank and it doesn’t look dirty it looks natural. All I had to do was toss a couple in the top of my tank and within a couple minutes my tank was where it needed to be. So all in all they were easy to use, they are great quality, safe for my fish, and make the tank healthy. I will definitely be using this again and again.

    SunGrow 50 Pcs Catappa Leaves
I am new to this whole Betta Fish thing. I want to do the best I can for Charmer, and these leaves seemed to be an all-around good item for his 1.5 gallon betta tank. They arrive in very good condition along with other items. They were not crushed or broken. The quality seems very good. I fully expect that he’ll receive all kinds of benefits from them. My only concern is that he’s one small fish; 50 leaves will take forever to use!

    Works..?
I think…not every leaf consistently works. Sometimes, 2 leafs good enough, but sometimes more than 5 leafs works..

They really are a miracle! :0
Bought these hoping they would help regrow the fins of my betta I picked up from a petstore who looked like needed some help and I was so surprised at how fast it worked for me!With a clean tank and great water conditions, this helped my fish regrow his fins by a cm in just a month! You can see the visible tail recovery in the photos :} I’m so proud of him, and he seems to be much happier. Just be watchful of your water conditions to ensure that this product will work as efficiently as possible and it will be worth the wait. I still have so much of the product left, in the future, so its a great investment and definitely worth the price. If you had doubts before, this is your sign! Get it, it works 🙂

Took my fish a month to forgive me……
I gave it a three because maybe it works in a bigger environment. It didn’t change anything but the water color I wasn’t a fan at all. I really wanted to be a fan. It made my betta fish cranky. In fact .It took ol redeye a month to forgive me. He is still a little squirrely ….and he’s a fish.

My betta loves nestling (is that a word?) around these, make the tank look really natural and seem to calm him down. Claim to help with PH, put 2 in my 10 litre nano tank, tested water after a week, perfect 7.0 reading. Was hoping they’d tinge the water brown as claimed to make it look even more natural among the plants, but I think the fact I use aqua bombs (makes crystal clear water and adds healthy bacteria to water) doesn’t help 🙃 they float at first and will float for ages, easy to sink if you want them to, just give them a good dunking!Impressed with the product, fast delivery too.
