It works in conjunction with proper conditioning!
I’ve had my first 8oz. bottle for more than a year and it’s close to the end. And the liquid is clear like water.It doesn’t really say this, but it’s like putting a collar on your dog and expecting it to behave! This product is an adjunct to proper cat training!I have THREE young rescues and a house full of new furniture! I provide toys and use them with my cats, and I take the time to teach them the word NO. A hand clap or loud noise is a good startle, and will help stop bad behavior.I’ve sprayed this Stop The Scratch stuff many times… backs of the fancy upholstered bar stools, corners of the couch and pretty much any unacceptable soft surface in my home! The spray smells faintly of rosemary, but the odor dissipates quickly. And it doesn’t stain! I’ve not had issues with the spray bottle either. Of note, I did purchase another brand of cat deterrent at the same time, and since it smelled strongly, I used only Stop The Scratch, and it works! I’m too irresponsible (busy) to spray on a regular schedule, but my Harvey will snap a claw on a barstool to remind me that it’s time to respray!I like this stuff. It works, in conjunction with normal efforts, and I find that it helps prevent a habit from forming.

Canât get anything out of the bottle .Itâs a joke got my order of no scratch and the pumper doesnât work . Trying to contact the factory and get a recording that operators are busy because of Covid and someone will get back to me within three days tried a second time same story no response .

My young adult cat had started to develop a furniture-scratching problem. The good news is that I used this spray a few times, and the problem has improved markedly. The bad news is that I have no idea whether the spray is the reason, or was it my firm “NO” & a good scratching post that did it? The spray must be sprayed on repeatedly throughout the day and only lasts a few hours; this was hard to time correctly… I’d spray, three hours would go by and the cat would scratch. If I had remembered to spray again, would it have stopped him? In any case, he has largely stopped so I give some of the credit to the spray. As far as the spray itself, as advertised, I found the scent to be very mild & perfectly pleasant. Also noteworthy, I sprayed it on all sorts of surfaces (including leather), and it left no visible residue. So, at least the spray does no harm (and maybe it even helps!).

This product single handily saved my couch!
My lovely cat has been destroying my furniture, specifically my couch, and nothing would deter her. I tried everything! If she wasnât scratching the sides of the couch, she went behind it and scratched the back of it. I bought this product with only a shred of hope that it would make her stop, but it did! She hates the smell of it. The smell is definitely present when the product is sprayed, but it doesnât bother me and has a natural scent to it. I have a white and very light grey colored fabric couch and the product does not stain it at all. When I first started using it, after the scent had faded in about an hour, my cat would come back and try to scratch again, so I would respray the product. Once I started using it regularly, she slowly stopped trying to scratch the couch, and now I only use it once every few days. It took a few weeks to get to this point, but Iâm so pleased with the results I donât care. One thing I like is that it does not deter her from wanting to cuddle with me on the couch, it only stops her from scratching at it. My cat used to also jump on the cooking counters, so now I spray this on the floor in front of the counter and she doesnât even try to jump up anymore. I will be repurchasing this again once I run out.

this works GREAT for my cat. immediately deters her from scratching, yet has a nice people friendly scent (rosemary). doesn’t stain furniture, and the 32 oz is a great size.

We sprayed it on the things she had been scratching and it didnât even slow her down. We sprayed it until it was wet, but didnât help. We gave it to a friend and it didnât work for her either.

I’ve had the product for a few days, sprayed it on an upholstered chair that the cats like, no difference. They sniff it and then climb onto chair. I’m always aggravated by products that have a better sales pitch than there’re product performance.

Effectively stops cats from scratching furniture in areas where sticking the plastic sheets on is not practical. The only problem is you have to spray it multiple times during the day.

I have two kittens and was hoping to keep them away from certain areas like the curtains and power plugs. I saw the reviews and hoped that the product would work at least partially. It turned out to be an absolute waste of time and effort. The spray does absolutely nothing. I have no idea what it contains but it smells bad to humans and the kittens dont ven seem to notice it. At first I thought I was not spraying enough or doing it often enough. But the kittens sniff at at it and to make matters worse seems to be attracted to it sometimes. What exactly is this spray for ? In m y opinion it is an absolute scam designed to fool pet owners.Stay away from it and keep your hard earned money.
