It’s giant for sure!
Woah! This is definitely giant! Much bigger then I expected. I purchased this for my Adult bearded dragon who is housed in a 90gal aquarium at the moment. I know this will fit no problem, but it may be too big even for this size tank and wish I bought a size smaller. My intention was to use this more for a basking climb then for a hide. This hut should be easy to take care off with spray on disinfectant in between washings. Good price for the size and it’s solid and heavy. Would be perfect for larger snakes.

Perfect height and size for her to maneuver around in …
This was purchased for our Eastern Box Turtle. She loves it!!!! Perfect height and size for her to maneuver around in with there taller shells.It is large but we have a 24in by 24in pen and it fits perfect and leaves plenty of room for her water feature and to move around in. Made well.

Too small for Russian tortoises
Very real bark is real to many staples to remove but not that big of a deal. Very natural looking just didn’t work for me but would be a good buy for a smaller pet

Very disappointed
The hide is nice and large for an XL but wide large not high enough for my tortoise to grow in with it’s so Flat that my tortoise can barely squeeze in there as it is and he is the size of my palm it’s like they got it off of a really fat tree trunk they need to use Slimmer trunks for it to have a higher Dome definitely not worth the money very disappointed only thing that is good for is to climb on.. maybe I can modify it to make it higher for him byWedging something under it on the side but it’s still defies the purpose of why I purchased this..

Good quality natural habitat
We had another brand of large half log habitat for our beardie to hang out in or on – and unfortunately those plastic ones seem to crack on us. Guessing heat (which is odd considering where they are placed..) but who knows. So, we figured to give this natural log a try. The look and heft of this were definitely above what we had used in the past, you can tell it’s a quality product. I will say, it’s natural – but ours had some knots and ruts in it where it appears they have filled these with resin? That’s somewhat odd but I greatly appreciate the company making their product sturdier. I get they don’t want them rotting or cracking. The natural wood does create some mess. I suggest unboxing outdoors and tapping this against the ground outside the first time you get it to get some of the loose debris off. I find we are having to vacuum the inside of our enclosure at a faster interval as well – which is not a big deal, just some housekeeping to be aware of. We don’t want our pets to ingest fine wood bits and bark. Also, the inside of the habitat is rather thick and makes the opening smaller than plastic enclosures. So, for us a nearly full-grown beardie is going to require the Giant as opposed to the XL we picked up – but will also then take up a good bit more space in the enclosure.

Not a luxury but a necessity!
Excellent design and construction! Purchased for my adult male Russian tortoise who was rescued following a house fire in which his plastic container fused to parts of his little body, requiring amputation of a rear leg and the ultimate loss of the claws on one of his front claws along with most of his tail. It is abundantly clear that these are habitat essentials and as critical to their wellbeing as other elements, such as nutrition! He immediately claimed it as his domicile and it functions as his home base! Appears to be weathering well in his outside enclosure and provides total protection from our Florida sun and our panhandle monsoons! Do not overlook your pets genuine need for appropriate habitat!

Not an XL
My daughter has a bearded dragon, and we needed something to add to his living. It says extra large on it however, this is definitely large, but the area underneath it for them to hide in is not large at all. So, instead, we had to lay it across two different pieces, and have it off the ground enough for him to be able to get under, and has some shade. Nice quality just not enough room underneath it to be considered an extra large.

Perfect size for hamster burrow
I bought this for my syrisn hamster and its perfect for what I need. If you have a older tortoise or other bigger/taller animals this might not work. Its sturdy and perfect for small animals like hamsters or geckos. I do not believe it would be tall enough for bigger animals. I am happy with my purchase and I would definitely buy from this seller again.

It is actually just 12cm in inner diameter (17.5 in outer, not 18.5, but also who cares about the outer diameter?). Both picture with a tortoise and product dimensions are raising false expectations.

Ich verwende diese Höhlen in den verschiedensten GröÃen für meine Terrarien. Sehen echt klasse aus und die Tierehaben was zum verstecken oder klettern. Ich kann diese Höhlen nur empfehlen.

Included a photo of the high priestess previous basking log, as you can see, the priestess is most robustly built,she was unable to take shelter beneath the original logs diminutive stature.So what was one to do? I had been entrusted with attending to the high priestess’s every whim. So it was decided, we would move to acquire a far more adequately proportioned log.The Habba Hut in giant size did not disappoint. I included photos, because i could not find any of a bearded dragon using one.
