Nice, sturdy, but a bit pricey hideout or climb for guinea pig or other pet
Cool guinea pig item, but pricey for what it is. What you receive is a bunch of sticks connected by wire so they can be bent into different shapes. The package also came with two sprigs of plastic plants which might be useful for a bearded dragon or other reptile enclosure, but not great for a rodent. See photos. I bent the sticks into an arch and placed it into one of my guinea pig enclosures. The guinea pig immediately checked it out and decided it made a good hideout. I haven’t seen him climb on top yet. There is no way to attach the two plastic plants to the sticks, and for me they were not helpful as guinea pigs would probably try to eat them. I do like the wire-stick structure, but I think it is overpriced at around $20 for what you get. It has two small eyelets on each end for possibly hanging it. It is about 9″ x 20″ when flat as stated in the description. It is sturdy, and if bent into an arch would easily support the weight of a guinea pig. The wire seems strong and should last if you don’t bend it up too much. It makes for a good hideout for your pet and a nice climb for a bearded dragon or other lizard or snake. It is customizable to a degree by bending it to fit your needs.
