Great quality, difficult to get on
I like the sack, very nicely made nice soft material. Seals up really well, in fact the seal is so good, it took me a few moments to figure out where it was and how to actually open it. it is going to take me some serious practice to get any of my cats into this. I found it quite a fight, I tried the cat that doesnât like anything and doesnât have any patience, that was a bust. He kept running out of the neck hole before I could even get him partially in the bag. I then tried my playful younger, more mellow kitty, that was a bust too basically the same thing. Itâs a really nice bag well made, but it probably helps to have a more cooperative cat, patience and better dexterity than I. But I will continue to try, like the little train that could, I think I can. I think I can, get the darn cat in the bag that is. The bagâs, a great price and well-made, for its purpose, no doubt about it.

Somewhat useful, but difficult to put on the cat
I have so much trouble trying to trim my cat’s nails as she never makes it through more than one or two without scratching and biting me. I purchased this wrap hopeful that it would bundle her up to protect me while also soothing her and making the nail trimming experience less traumatic for her. Unfortunately, it didn’t have that result for her. She did not like the wrap and it was difficult getting her in it, both her head through the sleeve and it bundled snuggly around her. Not that easy to use!Once I got her mostly in the wrap, I noticed the back side is not enclosed as much as in the pictures. This made it easy to get the bag legs out to trim, but it made it more difficult to keep her snug in the wrap. Also, her nails were sharp enough to poke through the wrap, so maybe a sturdier fabric would work better as that still caused some pain. Getting her front paws out was mostly impossible since if one is out, it gave access for the other to get loose and swat at me and my son. The quality of the wrap is ok, it’s soft and foldable, but it’s just not thick enough and the closure isn’t strong enough to make it safe as I wanted for trimming he nails. I have the scratches on me to show for it.Overall, the value for the money is fine, as this is better than any other product I have tried and definitely better than the harnesses that suspend the animal mid air. It allowed me to get through three paws in one difficult sitting, so that’s better than we’ve ever done before, so I’ll at least take that improvement thanks to this wrap.

Mom approved, cat not so much!
Got this for my TNR to house cat! Sheâs never had her nails clipped, and I needed this to do it safely. I also used it to give her her vaccinations and clean her ears. She fit in it perfectly and it is simple to put on. She wasnât happy about it, but it did the job. Material is soft and nice. Would recommend!

Get the cat sack, theyâll hate it, but wonât scratch you.
We ordered this hoping it would help make trimming our Tasmanian devil of a catâs nails. She claws the furniture, gets her nails caught in the curtains (requiring regular saving) and also likes to slash at our doodle puppy. She goes absolutely feral anytime she even sees the clippers. That said- this thing is great. She didnât even seem to be bothered by the swaddling aspect, but when we pulled a paw out to clip the nails, she began doing this guttural growl and hissing. However, it was totally fine because she couldnât reach us to claw or bite. This made grooming the cats nails MUCH safer, and we used zero bandaids this time! Donât get me wrong- Monday HATES it. Iâm sure sheâll develop some sort of Pavlovian disdain for the sack, but Iâll take it. She was fairly easy to wrangle into it, couldnât do anything but frighten me once inside, and the whole thing (while still an ordeal) was reasonably tame.

The Only Restraint That Tamed My Tiny Tyrant
I already use this style of grooming restraint, and itâs the only one that works for my very feisty 10 pound cat. Giving him medication usually becomes a wrestling match, but this bag keeps him from slipping out. It restrains him well (which is important, since he needs medication regularly) and gives me much better control of the process. Extremely easy to use, I would definitely buy it again. I sometimes wrap a towel around him once he is in the bag, for extra stabilization with my very active cat. If your cat fights you during grooming or medication, this is a nice reliable way to keep things calm and safe.
