Customers say
Customers find the waterbed fill and drain kit works well, with one mentioning it empties in 15-20 minutes. The product is easy to use and provides good water capacity, with one customer noting it’s ideal for aquariums. While some customers say it’s made with good quality and consider it a great value, others find it weakly made and overpriced. The kit doesn’t fit modern faucets, and customers find the directions incomprehensible.

Alternate use device
I do not have a waterbed. I do have a sump pump which doesnât work during power outages. I easily attached the drain kit to my basement utility sink. One end of a hose gets attached to the drain unit, while the other gets put into the sump. The pit is drained in 15-20 minutes. Itâs been a life saver, as we lose power more often than reasonable. Itâs been well worth the money we paid for it. It seems to be well made

Exactly what you need
All the components you will need to drain and fill your waterbed. Includes the adapter to convert from a bathroom sink to a garden hose so you do not have to buy that in addition to this kit.

Just what I needed
VERY easy to quickly empty my water bed. I just attached a hose and hang it over the deck off my bedroom and BAM! It was empty. My SIL came over to help and he set it up and said to let him know when he should come back to help finish but it was empty so fast he just stayed.

Flimsy – failed
I didnât have success with this. Grip on faucet was very tenuous and popped off repeatedly, eventually stripping the plastic threads. Was draining my late father-in-laws thirty year old waterbed so just ended up dragging it to a basement floor drain and stabbing it until I could drain the water out. Canât recommend as it is just too flimsy.

Emptying a water bed and it worked!

As a long time waterbed (and lava lamp) enthusiast stuck in the 70’s, I’ve had the pleasure/misfortune, of setting up and tearing down my waterbed over the years. This kit has the essential adapters to connect a garden hose from the faucet to the bed. The mystery part on the left of the photo supposedly helps create suction to drain a bed, but I just use a drill operated water pump as it’s much faster. The parts will last a lifetime as they only get used a handful of times.
My son has been wearing it non-stop since his birthday. Absolutely loves it. –
The only useful part is the attachment that fills the mattress. The âmagicâ pump part doesnât fit on conventional faucets and certainly doesnât drain the mattress.
