Works great, but stick with recommended dosage
These vitamins really seemed to have a positive affect on our hummingbirds. Not only did they seem to enjoy the nectar more than usual, but there was no apparent health improvements in our hummingbirds. So I thought, maybe I should double the dosage. After some time, I began to notice that our hummingbirds were getting larger. It was apparent that it was having an affect on the birds. However, after a hummingbird ate our cat, we decided to dial back the dosage of the product. As a public service message, in memory of Snuffles, I would like to encourage everyone to stick with the recommended dosage.

Good product, no issues.
Tried it out, humming birds seem to like it fine. I generally only add half the recommended amount though. I think that’s 3 drops for 1 cup. Make sure the water isn’t hot or you’ll destroy the vitamins when you add it.

I thought vitamins were a great idea but my birds shun the stuff. Fortified nectar is taken at about 1/2 the rate as simple sugar alone. Perhaps they don’t know what’s good for them.

Better than sugar water alone!
Started giving my hummingbirds these vitamin drops. I add it to the sugar water I make for them 8 drops per 32 oz. I havenât seen any increase or decrease in the birds activity, but I hope they are benefiting from the additional vitamins!

Don’t kill hummingbirds
Hummingbirds need nutrition to survive and sugar water has none. Do your research.
