Great rocks for shrimp tank!
The rocks are perfect for my all natural shrimp tank. Good color and lots of holes for shrimp to go thru.

These rocks make it easy to plant immersed plants in a planted tank and also hide filter/pump tubing if needed.Some of the rocks came broken and were unusable with the drilled holes.Overall pretty happy with the purchase, would recommend.

Skinny flat pieces
I understand this is a natural product. So I certainly didn’t expect them to be exactly like the pics. I also could tell in the pics that they didn’t have natural holes. But I thought the way they drilled the holes looked nice.Well what I received was very flat rocks. Some are under an inch thick and the others just a hair over an inch. No where near the inch in three quarters given in the Product Dimensions area.And instead of the holes looking varied and natural, they’re drilled right next to each other and close together. It looks so unnatural.Like I said, I expected natural variation in a natural product. But these are so thin and flat with very mechanical looking holes that are drilled so close together, yeah, I’m very unhappy.

My Moss and Shrimp Love Them!
I stacked these lava rocks in my 3-gallon aquarium to create a little basin where my shrimp can hide and eat. The red color makes a beautiful backdrop for my bright green Java Moss, which loves clinging onto the rocks’ porous surfaces. My shrimp use the rough texture of the rocks to help them molt successfully, and they also enjoy climbing around or resting in the little cave-like holes. I love that they are neutral in terms of pH and that they harbor beneficial bacteria which is helping to stabilize the water of my new-ish tank. I’m very happy with these rocks so far!
