Customers say

Customers find these training treats to be the right size for little dogs and great for training purposes, with many different flavors to choose from. They appreciate the quality, value for money, and their dogs love them, with one customer noting they stay soft for a long time. The smell receives mixed reactions, with some saying it smells good while others find it awful, particularly noting the salmon flavor can make dogs’ breath smell like old bait.

    Perfect bite-size training rewards!
I’ve been using Zuke’s Mini Naturals for training and my dogs go crazy for them. They’re tiny (about pea-size), very low in calories (2–3 kcal each), and soft—ideal for repeated rewarding without filling them up. The real-meat-first ingredients (chicken, beef, salmon, peanut butter) and added vitamins make me feel good about what I’m feeding them. Plus, the resealable pouch keeps them fresh and easy to carry.

Perfect treat for training and other things
I’ve bought Zukes Mini Treats, chicken for such a long time. I heard about it on TV series. So when I checked at a store, they, to me, were expensive, some sites are better.BUT Amazon, so far, beats all prices. I never thought that these treats would work so fast, it’s amazing. Yes I saw it on TV, since I’m not sure one is allowed to say which series it is, I won’t say what it is.First time I bought Zukes, 1 pound, (got two dogs), I bought it long ago, with other products, and like I wrote, both dogs learned fast, everytime I train, or make sure they always are good, mainly outside, they actually know I have those mini Chicken treats…probably the smell, and we have 2 Labs, so I guess it’s the smell.First time I used them, it was only when they gave positive reaction. I was quit surprised it didn’t take long as dogs do remember, so when I give command, and they listen, I praise them, give them each the treat.I also got one of those treat packages, comes in handy outside.I have to say they remember better than I do, meaning when I say something new, a new learning thing, it seemed, at at least to me, that they knew if they did it, they’d get a treat.I want to make clear that although on occassion on some dogs, it takes longer to learn, but they do. But also, there WILL come a time that they just do what they’re told, like “not try to dig under fence, or try to go after Cats”, that they actually do listen, but when they come inside doggie door when I call them, they sit and wait before going in the house. So, yes, I give each of them one mini chicken treat. Then they go in the house, and they both play. But in the house, if or when things get out hand, like door bell ringing, the best word for me that I taught was a stern “NO!” that takes their attention off the door. Here’s a tip, another thing I used a long time ago…because dogs do what dogs do, meaning we have so many cats in the neighborhood, not easy to get them in the house.I started with a clicker, inside house, they know that clicking sound they get the mini chicken treat. That, at last for us, WORKS ALL THE TIME.I really don’t know what else to say, other than if anyone is going to try the treats, make sure you try the chicken first, they seem, at least our dogs, love that chicken. One pound of those treats are far better price than 8oz.Just make sure it comes from Amazon, anything over $25.00 you don’t pay postage. (unless you don’t care about postage, or you’re rich..lol )The 3rd parties also, I found, but ONLY SOMETIMES, they also don’t charge postage. What I’m trying to say is if economy is hurting you, then just take the time, as I do, and just check out the prices. If anyone has any questions, or even suggestions as I always like suggestions, please feel free to contact me.Now I feel better doing the review. I should have done more reviews, I plead guilty to that. In a way, this was fun to do. Thank you for reading my review, and hope, especially if you have hard time training, hope you try these treats.Just remember THIS, never YELL, or NEVER EVER hit your dog, that is so wrong, especially if it’s trained, and somebody wants to pet him/her, the dog will DEFINATELY think he or she might be hit. Dogs are, indeed, smarter than people realize, and from 1967 til present, I always find out new things about our dogs, as we adopt them, they are wonderful animals to have, they WILL protect you, LOVE you, and do anything for you.I know this to be true…, so believe me when I say Dogs are great, my view is GREAT for us Senior Citizens, they do protect us, and in my case one literally saved my life in July, 2008.So reminding you if anyone has any questions, please ask, or recommendations, that’s cool too, always listen to recommendations. 🙂

Pretty sure my dogs would also give these 5 stars
My two dogs get so excited over these and very quickly they have became my go-to treats for training. Every time they hear me open the bag they come whipping around the corner.I have two dogs, a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd (50lbs) and 4-year-old mixed terrier (30lbs). I had bought these last week after researching healthier training treats. I’ve been using them not only for ongoing training of commands and tricks, but I’ve also found many other uses for them as well. They work well inside brain stimulation toys and inside a pet camera that tosses treats, because they’re small enough. These treats are maybe just a little smaller than average sized dry dog food. They’re small enough to use often to reward good behavior without guilt. My dogs haven’t had any problems chewing or swallowing them during training sessions and they don’t have a super strong odor.It was very important for me to find dog treats that were healthy. I appreciate these treats being made and sourced within the USA, but also they’re made without any artificial coloring, flavors, or by-products. I can tell this brand truly cares about the quality of their treats, as well as my dog’s health. My Australian Shepherd has a sensitive stomach, and I haven’t noticed any digestive problems since I started giving him these, so that’s very reassuring. The bag they come in is resealable to keep them fresh, and so far it’s been doing it’s job. I haven’t noticed any dryness or crumbling inside the bag as of now. I also noticed there’s a lot of different flavors available. I like changing up the flavors so my dogs don’t get bored. I’m excited for them to try more! What I like about these:* Easy to chew during training* 2 calories per treat* No strong smell* Doesn’t crumble or fall apart* Resealable bag keeps them fresh* Made with quality ingredients* They’re versatile (training, enrichment toys, treat cameras)One thing I should mention, I did expect them to be a little softer. They’re not as hard as dry dog food, but they’re also not soft enough to squish in your fingers.I can fit many of them in my training pouch, and I will absolutely be ordering more, and trying out other flavors as well!

    Dog Time
Totally awesome dog treats. Both of my dogs love them and i dont have to feel too guilty about giving them too many. They are motivated by them during our training sessions, I have paired these with a 20 foot leash and will try ot teach them recall at a local park. No tummy issues and both dogs seem to love them!

Look …. These are BY FAR the best treats i have ever given to my little puppy! Love them! They smell nice, she loves them and you can easily break them down to smaller pieces! The only negative thing was the delivery time but given the quality of the product i am willing to overlook it and give 5 stars. However be advised: 3 weeks of delivery time is not a nice amount of time to wait so that you can start treating your puppy.

Finding that one of our furry family member’s favourite treats is no longer being made, we had to look for new, safe and tasty treats for him. His previous “Chicken Fingers/Nuggets” were simply chicken, oat flour and, I believe, a bit of vegetable oil. These Zuke’s Minis are tiny squares of which are 3 calories a treat, and pocket sized for training. They’re moist treats but don’t contain soy thankfully. The list of ingredients is a bit longer than the aforementioned favourite treats but they’re still healthier and safe: Chicken, Ground Rice, Ground Barley, Malted Barley, Gelatin, Vegetable Glycerin, Natural Flavors, Cherries, Sunflower Oil, Lecithin, Salt, Phosphotic Acid (a preservative), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Mixed Tocopherols.Best of all? He likes them! We’d purchased the Zuke’s Chicken Fillets with rosemary, and as he likes those, knew these would likely be a safe bet.
