Founded in 2012 by Gail and Matt Waterman, this brand was born out of their shared struggle with hair loss and the desire to find a real solution. Gail salon owner of 30 years & of Jamaican mixed-race heritage, experienced fine, weak hair and significant hair loss around her edges after giving birth, which deeply affected her confidence.
In 2012, with nothing effective on the market, Gail and Matt decided to take matters into their own hands. Together, they researched ancient ingredients and combined their knowledge to create the very first Watermans products. Their innovative formulas were designed to address their personal hair challenges, and today, they have helped thousands of others do the same.
Gail and Matt have always believed that true success is measured by how much we give back to those in need. That’s why we donate our Grow Me Hair Growth Shampoo to chemo wards across the UK, comforting those who need it most. We also channel some of our profits into donating to community trusts supporting underprivileged areas and helping them flourish. We also provided grassroots football kits to many teams.

I think itâs working?
I am on a lifelong mission to better my fine, somewhat thin hair. Like, thereâs almost nothing I wonât try. Given the lack of density, most styling products are just too much and do the opposite of creating fullness for me. And no hair growth serums or shampoo has produced a dramatic enough change for me to swear by them. But my hair is the longest itâs been for some time, and if Iâm being generous I can give some credit here. I donât love the way they smell, so I mixed some rosemary and eucalyptus oils into them which I think are supposed to have some helpful properties themselves but if not, they at least make washing my hair a more sensory experience. This is my current go-to shampoo & conditioner even though I am very capricious and will likely flit off to something different eventually ð

Great shampoo & conditioner for thinning hair!
I love this shampoo and conditioner. I have thin hair on top and these products make my hair feel and look much thicker. I have tried many different shampoos and conditioners over my 65 years, and I must say that these are the best that I have ever used.

Not working
First off I’d like to say I’ve had this product for two months and used it almost every-day. It didn’t grow my bald spots out but it did give me more fullness to my very thin aging hair. The smell of the shampoo wasn’t good but it was tolerable. The conditioner smelled good, so it masked the shampoo. If your looking for volume, then this is the stuff.

Please read on for full details.A small patch on the crown of my head seemed to be thinning out. I couldnât tell if this was male pattern baldness creeping up on me or if it was due to the way Iâve been sleeping. So, I gave this product a shot.After about two weeks of use, friends and associates of mine said it looked as if more hair was starting to grow in the area. The product seemed to have worked.HOWEVER, at around this time, I started to wake up with what appeared to be skin rash and the needle poking prior to sweating symptoms of cholinergenic urticaria.Perhaps the most uncomfortable of these possible associated health impacts is nipple sensitivity. Not quite certain if this is to the degree of gynecomastia, but I do notice a lower sex drive.These latter symptoms lends me to believe that this product contains DHT blockers, which for men, has the capacity to throw off your hormones and includes impediments to producing testosterone.With other DHT blocking products like Propecia, roughly one out of every hundred men will be sidelined by the hormone imbalance. Iâve noticed a lot of women leaving reviews here, but not as many men.To the men out there, I would caution the use of this product as it could likely cause some serious health risks associated with hormonal imbalance. For me, Iâve stopped using this product for about two weeks now and I still feel these symptoms.

After 1 month of use my hair quaility has improved
I’ve been using the shampoo and conditioner as directed on the bottles for about 1 month and there is an absolute improvement in the thickness and curliness of my hair. I also bought their Hair Oyl and all three together I’ve had a significant improvement in my hair quality.
