Will the shields stay on my sofa?
Yes! The combination of self-adhesive sheets and twist pins will hold the shields in place.
Do I have to use the twist pins?
It is optional, but we recommend it the use of twist pins because they are very effective in keeping the shields flat around the corners and preventing them from peeling off.
Some customers prefer to secure only the top corners.
Will my cat scratch the protected areas?
Most cats won’t attempt to scratch the protected area after shields are installed. Cats don’t like to scratch on plastic FixZilla Cat Furniture Protector are tear-resistant and will significantly prevent pet claw damage.
Does it damage my furniture?
Not! The adhesive is perfectly designed to last on the furniture for a long time and when you remove the sheets, no residue remains.

Even though our cats have lots of scratching places, for some reason they REALLY like the fabric on our new couch. One thing I noticed about some of the reviews here is that a lot of people, for whatever reason, didn’t use the included pins to install these onto the furniture. I’m not sure if people are not aware that there are pins, or if they decided to not use them, or if for some reason some of these don’t come with the pins, but ours came with pins, and we used them.

These things are great! We just stick them on a few spots where the cats tend to scratch and pull. They keep trying but they get nowhere! Saved my new furniture for sure!! Easy to cut to size. Stick well enough to stay on but don’t leave sticky residue.

The Reaper Great value for thick protectors and several.
Recommended. Got a new couch added their cat blanket & scratching post so they don’t feel the need to sentify it. Still one of our girls tried scratching it, so these protectors are a must. We had even in the 12 pack to protect all four corners the sides and front. Even had an extra sheet left over we cut and used on another couch and our fabric bed corner. Will buy again.

No more scratching
This is saving my couch. Works great, no more scratching! My cats like to pull themselves across the bottom of the couch and they were tearing up the material. I trimmed the loose threads and stuck this on, I didnât even use the pins that came with and it stays on nicely. Looks OK.

May not stick as well as you would like
The adhesive on the back of the plastic strips is not sticky enough to adhere to my furniture. The pins help the plastic stay in place but are a little hard to insert. My cats have been deterred from scratching the corners of the furniture, but one of them now tries to scratch the cushions on the furniture! The product did arrive in a timely fashion and the plastic strips are thick. The issue may be more with my furniture than the product.

Cat finally leaves couch alone
Our cat would not leave the side of our couch alone! This product was an absolute life saver for my poor couch. The sheets are sticky and they come with pins to set them in place. They are flexible and thick enough that the cat can’t scratch any fabric. They come in a variety of sizes. Was a great purchase overall

You need these if you have a scratcher.
They work well. The cat is not scratching the furniture anymore. They did start to peel off, but it is a high traffic area where the couch is always getting touched.

Leave sticky residue
This is supposedly easy to take off, NOT! My ultra suede couch is covered with the sticky surface, I have no idea how to get it off. They are a great idea and my cats scratch them all day.

Only thing saving my couch! Had them on for about a year now and keep buying more for other things around my house. Great quality and not flashy at all! Blends in well with the couch. Love it!
