very cute, good size, great quality
it took my bunny 3 weeks to figure out this is a hay feeder. she smells the hay but for some reason she would just nibble at the wood or dig at it hoping the hay would come out. i showed her how to do it but she won’t budge. well finally today she figured it out and started eating from it. so proud of her. i was on the verge of returning it but wanted to give her a chance and after 3 weeks, her 2 brain cells started cooperating with each other and she figured it out! love the quality and size. my bunny is a holland lop and is currently 4 months old (photo of her beside the hay feeder for size reference)

Great design
I got this because I needed a hay rack that my cats couldn’t nibble hay from outside the cage. And this works perfectly in my rabbits pen! Easy to fill, sturdy design. He hasn’t even chewed it.

Great feeder
It is a little messy when you need to fill the hay, and I do notice that the top part of where you are supposed to put the hay is extremely skinny. So for the bun parents that hate inconvenience you may want to look at another option. It is small but with my bunny it lasts her two days with some pellets. I would suggest making that top opening a little bigger and making that angle a little close to 70 degrees to make it easier filling the hay. Overall its adorable and gets the job done, I’m just a very neat person when it comes to making sure my buns area is nice and tidy.

I LOVE IT!!!!
It is ALOT bigger than I thought it would be! It’s made VERY WELL and it’s GORGEOUS!!! However, my 8 yr old mini-lop, Peanut, REFUSES to stick her head inside the hole to get hay. I don’t want to stuff hay in there, have it get “old” (“old” food to a rabbit is over 24 hours! LoL) and then have to waste the hay. So, I just stick the hay straight out of the hole! She LOVES it! I use this as a 2nd place for her to eat hay. I put her 2nd cut Timothy Hay in here since it has those hard straight pieces. The 2nd cut is PERFECT to stick straight in the hole!!!

Over priced and not much hay goes inside be better if bigger only nice thing is head won’t get stuff but cause more trouble then it’s worth and have to refill it or more shift hay around several times just for my guinea Pic to even want it and she has to hurt her feet in soiled hay gave her bubble feet from the height of the hole

Nice but big
This is great for holding straw and it isn’t really messy. However if you are keeping it in your bunny cage then you are going to want to have a very large cage because it takes up some room. It’s well made and esthetically pleasing.

Lid would not close. Sloppy craftsmanship. Disappointed.
The lid does not close due to the wood being offset near the hinges. Very disappointed in the craftsmanship. If I knew it was going to be like this I wouldâve just built it myself. Not worth the amount I paid for it when I have to try and fix it myself. Only reason it is not one star is because I did get the product quickly and on time!

Ich bin begeistert! Der Heuspender ist nicht nur für Zwergkaninchen sonder auch für gröÃere Langohren geeignet. Der Heuspender lässt sich leicht befüllen und schützt da Heu vor Verunreinigungen. Das Loch ist von der GröÃe her optimal. Man braucht sich definitiv keine Sorgen machen, dass die Kaninchen mit dem Kopf stecken bleiben könnten. Ich würde diesen Heuspender jederzeit wieder bestellen. Er ist das Geld definitiv wert.

Avendo dovuto togliere del tutto la gabbia perché il mio coniglio si stava divorando il vassoio di plastica, ingerendone quantità preoccupanti, ho dovuto cercare una mangiatoia che stesse in piedi da sola (non da agganciare alle sbarre) e di un materiale che non fosse a lui nocivo. Devo dire che sono assolutamente soddisfatta! Ce l’ho da parecchio ormai e oltre al fatto che non l’ha rosicchiata quasi per niente (plastica sì, ma legno no…ho un coniglio strano, mi sa!), è esattamente quello che cercavo: dimensioni perfette per lo spazio della stanzetta, la quantità di fieno disperso in giro è decisamente minore rispetto a prima ed è facilissima da riempire (io mi trovo meglio a riempirla direttamente dal buco stesso, ma c’è anche il comodo sportellino in alto). Inoltre trovo abbia anche un design davvero molto carino, il che non guasta mai! Unica (davvero minuscola) pecca è che il mio coniglio perde tantissimo pelo e ci resta attaccato sopra. Per toglierlo quando devo pulire ci impazzisco un po’, ma non è decisamente niente di che. La consiglio assolutamente!

Great purchase. Easy to fill, free standing good feature. Carrot detail on top is cute- a bigger one would be nice option as well.Rabbits still might dig out hay from feeding hole, there is NO escape from hay on the floor 100% but these make big difference in keeping things tidy. I have 2, for 2 rabbbits. Bunnies eat more hay with these for sure
