Good Tool for Pool Maintenance, Some Limitations
I have been using this 4-in-1 digital pool water tester and it has been a big help. It measures pH, EC, TDS, and temperature in one unit, which makes pool maintenance much easier than using separate test kits. The display is clear and easy to read, and operation is straightforward. I appreciate not having to deal with multiple strips or color charts. Calibration took a bit of patience, and I am still checking how accurate it is compared to my traditional chemical test kit. The overall build quality is fine, but it feels a little light for something used around water and outdoor conditions. If you want a quick way to get consistent readings without a lot of hassle, this tester is a good option. Just make sure to calibrate it carefully and confirm results occasionally with another method.

Display is hard to read in sunlight
It works; however, in sun light, you canât read the display. It loses calibration after a couple of weeks.

Works as described
This is just what I needed to check the ph of my fish tank.

Works well. You will have to buy tds calibration fluid. It only comes with ph.
This multifunctional meter works well and is accurate. It seems well made and should last for some time.Once calibrated itâs easy to use.Calibration requires several steps. The included ph calibration packets require you to use distilled water. The reason I wanted this was to test my aquariums Total dissolved solids and I was surprised that it didnât include any calibration packets for that. I had to spend about 12 dollars getting some from amazon. It worked well and now itâs calibrated.Once calibrated it stays accurate for weeks and youâll rarely have to recalibrate unless you notice things donât seem right.Itâs a good quality meter that I use daily with my three aquariums and I use it to text my water filter to make sure it doesnât need changed.I was frustrated by the fact it didnât include everything for calibration and it should be advertised that you will need to purchase the ec/tds calibration liquid separately.I do love how easy it was to switch between Ph, tds, and that it displays the temperature. The instructions are included but it does tell you when you calibrate the EC to go to that setting but it is not an option on the meter, the meter shows, ph, ppm and ys/cm. When calibration occurs you use the ys/cm mode because there is no ec mode.Itâs kinda confusing because the instructions donât mention ppm so I donât really know what that is, maybe thatâs the ec, maybe itâs the tds. Either way I use the ys/cm as the tds. I would love some clarification.Besides that I still like this one and I have used it every day since I got it.

Impressively accurate pH meter post-calibration. TDS meter also decent.
Decent little pH meter once you calibrate it. By default, my pH 7.0 solution was reading a pH of 6.8. After calibrating with the included pH 6.86 buffer solution, my 7.0 solution was giving me a pH of 7.01 @ 24.9C which is spot on. The TDS meter was also only off by 3% from my 1413 calibration solution, pre-calibration. Needless to say, for the price of the device, I’m shocked by the accuracy.Functionality wise, it’s very easy to use. You can switch between measuring pH, PPM, or EC just by pressing the Mode button on the device. Love the backlit display, which makes it easy to work with in low-light environments. The device runs on 4 LR44 batteries. For the size of the device, AAAs would have been the better choice, but LR44s are also fairly cheap and common.Given the probe is meant to be stored in a electrode storage solution, the storage cap is a little awkward given it’s round tip. Luckily, I do happen to have a solution storage organizer that’s meant to hold a pH meter of this shape and size. At least the tip of the device does have a gasket, so when the cap is on you don’t have to worry about the probe storage solution leaking from the cap.

Super accurate
I’m impressed with this little device. It’s awesome that it comes with the calibration packets you need to make sure your pH readings are spot on. That’s a huge plus. The fact that it also has a TDS meter and I could confirm its accuracy against my own Zero Pitcher TDS meter is really reassuring. This thing is incredibly accurate and a fantastic value, especially at the current sale price. I’ve seen these meters go for a lot more, so getting a good, accurate one for under twenty bucks is a steal. It’s so easy to use and seems durable enough to last for years. Highly recommend for those who need to test their water for drinking, pools, aquariums, etc.

Good so far, but calibration process could be clearer
I tried out this multifunctional 4-in-1 digital pH meter right out of the box to test both my pool and hot tub water. Even without calibration, the readings lined up well with my test strips and where I expected the pH to be. Itâs really nice to get an exact number rather than trying to match colors on a strip. The display can be a little hard to read in bright daylight, and I wasnât sure at first whether I should hold it still or move it around in the water. I found that gently agitating the water for a minute or two helped the reading stabilize and gave repeatable results.I havenât gone through the calibration process yet, but the instructions are a little unclear about whether calibration is required before the first use or only after some time. If it does need to be done right away, it would be better if the manufacturer included more than one set of calibration packets.Overall, the meter seems accurate and convenient to use. A clearer calibration guide and a few extra buffer packets would make it even better.
