Natural bamboo litter with great odor control.
We had never tried bamboo litter before, and it seems fairly rare. What matters most to me is that itâs plant-based and natural. The bag is resealable, which is convenient, but at just 5.29 pounds, it only fills a medium or large litter box once. The smell is natural and noticeable if you stand a couple of feet from the box, but it isnât overpowering. There was a small cloud of dust when I first opened the bag, but once it was poured into the litter box, dust was minimal, much less than clay litters and about the same as tofu. For context, Iâm comparing it to the tofu litter we currently use, several other tofu brands weâve tried, and many clumping clay litters we used before switching to tofu. The pellets are slightly larger than tofu and track far less than clumping clay litters. The best part for me is how well it controls odor. It neutralizes smell completely without any perfumes or additives. It also doesnât stick to my catâs paws and to the sides of the litter box.The clumping, however, was a letdown. The clumps felt a bit soft and didn’t hold together well when I scooped them. Small bits would break off and fall back into the clean litter. In that regard, both clay and tofu litters perform better. To introduce it to my cat, I first mixed a small amount into the old tofu litter, and my cat accepted it right away. Two days later, I replaced the old litter entirely with this bamboo litter, and my cat had no issues at all.The bag says itâs flushable, and I did a quick test with a scoop in water. After about five to seven minutes, it broke down into small particles, which seemed safe enough. Still, I’m cautious about flushing litter to avoid potential plumbing issues.Overall, itâs a solid litter. It is on the pricey side, and for me it doesnât perform quite as well as a tofu litter at a similar cost, but itâs still very good when it comes to odor control and overall performance. I just wish the clumping was a little firmer.

Very nice but it’s a TINY amount of litter!
I love that this is so healthy and natural! It’s good for the environment and good to have something so natural inside for the cats. Bamboo is often used for it’s cleanliness associated properties. That’s a huge plus in a litter. Also, it’s a nice change to know the cat litter is not harming the earth. There was no unpleasant perfume smell and it did a good job of clumping. I felt like it kept the cat box clean. It’s light and easy to carry, also easy to pour into the cat box.I’m not a fan of the name Happy “Tik” because each time I read it I thought of ticks and that’s the last thing I want around my cats. That said, I would not judge whether or not I keep using this on that name. The one concern I have is that it’s a very small amount. It would require me to buy so many of these each month as there is much less in the bag than I am used to. That cuts into the value. If you don’t mind that then this is highly recommended.

My cats refuse
Completely unimpressed and disappointed. First it’s not dust free. Tho it does have noticeably less than other brands. The clumping is decent. But my cats refused to use their box after one time. Idk if it’s the feel of the pellets on their feet or that when they pee, the pellets expand upwards(think little mounded ant nest coming out of the ground) and maybe touches their bottom. Or maybe its more work to “cover” their business. Not sure but it’s not the litter for us.

Great Litter!
This is my first time trying bamboo fiber cat litter and honestly I really like it. Iâve mostly used tofu litter before and this one clumps just as well when thereâs urine, maybe even a little firmer. It also sticks a bit better when catching poop, which makes scooping easier. The odor control is really good too way better than I expected. Theres also no dust which is one thing i definitely donât miss with clay litter lol the only small downside is that it tracks a tiny bit more probably because the pellets are smaller and lighter but itâs not too bad. Overall it works great and iâm pretty impressed! I would definitely use it again.

Works as claimed – very expensive
ReviewsByMuseMy cats have tried several different types of litter, Breeze pellets, tofu, clay…. and now they’ve tried bamboo. I am searching for a good alternative to clay because it gets dust everywhere and tracks like mad. And this litter solves the tracking problem. Maybe one or two pellets fling out like the tofu litter I’ve tried, but those are easy to deal with. The smell is lightly woody when dry. It does not hide the cat urine scent like other litters that have odor absorbancy (like Breeze pellets). However, this did the job and it did biodegrade in water so could be flushable. The reason for one star less is the value – it’s not a good value for the money. It’s very pricey ($17 as of this writing for less than 6lbs). In comparison a 38lb box of clay litter is $20-25. I have a multi-cat household with three cats and six litter boxes so unfortunately it’s not sustainable financially.

Owner and Kitty Approved!
I HATE the smell of kitty litter but I love my fur babies more. I did not know what to expect from this litter alternative but my hopes were that it would help with odor. I was very happy that my gamble paid off. This has reduced the smell of the litterbox and in turn the overall smell of the utility room. It works incredibly well. My cats also took to it fast. They didnât seem to mind the different texture and with it being such small pieces, they can still hide their business with ease. I will be purchasing this again in the future.

SUPER stinky, does not contain smells AT ALL
This litter absorbs urine fine and scooping poop is fine as well, but it smells AWFUL. We tried it for one week with our regular daily cleaning and our whole house just reeked of litter box. The day we switched back to our old litter it was SUCH a relief to have our house NOT smell like cat poop and pee. Longevity wise, we were only able to survive a week since it did not work well and smelled so bad. There is basically no dust which is one plus for this litter, but again it’s just so stinky. Never tried to flush it.
