The Ultimate Peace of Mind for Anxious Cat Parents (And a Ton of Fun!)
Overall Rating: â â â â â (5/5)As a devoted cat parent, I’m plagued by the classic questions every time I leave the house: Is he okay? Is he bored? Is he lonely? Did he just knock over that expensive vase? I’ve tried other pet cameras before, but they were always static, and my cat, like most, is not a statue. He roams. I would end up staring at an empty patch of carpet, which did nothing for my anxiety.Enter the Furbo 360° Cat Camera. I was intrigued by the 360-degree view and the smart features. After several weeks of use, I can say without hesitation that this is the single best “pet-tech” purchase I have ever made. It’s a peace-of-mind machine.Section 1: Unboxing, Design, and SetupThe setup process was impressively simple. I downloaded the Furbo app, plugged in the camera, and followed the on-screen instructions to connect it to my home Wi-Fi. The entire process took less than five minutes. The unit itself is sleek, modern, and sturdy. It doesn’t look like a clunky piece of security tech; it blends right into my living room decor. The base is wide and heavy enough that my cat has (so far) shown no ability or interest in knocking it over. The treat-loading mechanism is simple, and I love the natural bamboo lid, which feels secure and “pet safe”âno easy-to-chew plastic bits.Section 2: The Hardware (What You Get Out of the Box)The core features of the camera itself are fantastic, even without the subscription. The 360° View: This is the absolute game-changer. Through the app, I can swipe to pan the camera a full 360 degrees. But the real magic is the auto-tracking. When the camera sees my cat move, it automatically follows him. I no longer lose him as he walks from the couch to his food bowl. I can see everything.Video & Audio Quality: The 1080p HD video is crystal clear during the day. The auto-night vision is equally sharp, allowing me to see his late-night “zoomies” in perfect black-and-white detail. The two-way audio is crisp with minimal lag. I can call his name, and he instantly looks up and often meows or chirps back. The Treat Tosser: This is my cat’s favorite feature, by far. The app has a simple button to toss a treat. The Furbo makes a little “calling” sound (which my cat learned in less than a day), and then it quietly flings a treat across the room. Itâs a wonderful way to interact and reward him for just being cute, even when I’m at the office.Section 3: The “Furbo Nanny” Paid Plan (The Smart Features)This is the most important part of the review. To unlock the smartest featuresâthe proactive alerts, cloud recording, and advanced securityâyou need the paid “Furbo Nanny” subscription. I was hesitant at first, but after the free trial, I was completely sold. The hardware is the “eyes,” but the subscription is the “brain.”Hereâs what made it an easy decision for me:Proactive, Specific Alerts: This isn’t just a generic “motion detected” alert that my old security cam gave me for every dust bunny. Furbo Nanny gives me alerts I actually care about:Cat Activity Alert: I get a push notification specifically when my cat is running, playing, or jumping on furniture. I can quickly check in, see he’s just being a cat, and go back to my work.Meowing Alert: This is my most-used feature. The Furbo detects the sound of meowing and alerts me. I can then open the app, see if he’s just saying hello or seems distressed, and use the two-way audio to talk to him and calm him down. It has been a miracle for my “is he okay?” anxiety.Person Alert (Home Security): This is the “Home Security” feature. The camera can tell the difference between a pet and a person. I get a specific “Person Detected” alert, which is invaluable. I know exactly when the cat sitter arrives or, more importantly, if someone who isn’t supposed to be there enters my apartment.Cloud Recording & “Kitty Diary”: The Nanny service records these “events” (meowing, activity, people) and saves them to the cloud. My favorite part is the “Doggie/Kitty Diary.” At the end of the day, the app creates a 60-second highlight reel of my cat’s activities, set to cheerful music. It’s beyond charming and saves me from having to scrub through hours of footage to find the cute moments.Section 4: The Verdict: True Peace of MindThe Furbo 360° Cat Camera is a premium product, and the subscription is an added cost. However, the value it provides is immense. I am no longer a high-anxiety cat parent. When I’m in a long meeting and my phone buzzes, I see a “Cat Activity” alert, open the app, watch my cat bat his favorite toy, toss him a treat, and close the app with a smile. It’s a security camera and a pet interaction tool all in one. It has strengthened my bond with my cat and given me the freedom to be away from home without the guilt. If you, too, are an anxious pet parent, you cannot put a price on the peace of mind this device delivers. It’s worth every penny.

Solid Pet Camera, Outstanding “Smart” Features
I bought the Furbo Mini 360 because I am a new dog parent and we are working on leaving my pup at home and monitoring her separation anxiety. The Furbo Nanny (subscription required) is really something else; it can accurately inform you if your dog is crying, howling, or barking. It plays calming music if you want, to help your pet relax while you’re away. Whenever it detects an event (movement/bark/cry/howl), it records the event and let’s you go back to see what happened at what time, in what sequence. Set up was easy on my iPhone, and I don’t imagine it to be much different on other platforms. It uses a bamboo-like material for the top cap, which is a nice touch.Camera quality is impeccable at 2K even under low light, while $75 for a device that requires subscription is a bit high, keep an eye out for prime day and you can get them for a good deal! I’ve also tried many other cameras on the market and this Furbo camera does not require you to separately purchase an external storage card which is also a plus. The only complaint I have for this device is that although it has a 360 viewing angle, panning up or down is somewhat limited. Otherwise, this is a perfect pet camera for those owners who gets just as anxious as your pup when you first start leaving them home alone!

Blown away by quality of customer service.
Iâm extremely excited about this new purchase because Iâve had an older model for several years. What compelled me to hop on here and write a review however is the efficient, above and beyond customer service I just received directly from Furbo. Extremely satisfied with my purchase knowing itâs backed by this level of care.

Has brought us peace of mind and so much fun!
I have 2 young cats and so wish I wouldâve bought the Furbo a long time ago. We travel a lot and while we have pet sitters come in, I wanted to be able to keep an eye on them between the visits. We also go on a lot of day trips where we donât have a sitter and this helps me keep an eye on them. It had been brilliant for that, but Iâve been most happily surprised by how much I use it day to day otherwise. It sends me alerts when my cats are up to mischief as well (ahem, chewing on things they shouldn’t). I canât always be there to intercept, but what does work is me having the Furbo shoot a treat out to them to distract them. They are young males and sometimes play too rough with each other (I get those alerts, too haha). Once again, a timely treat delivered interrupts them enough to calm things down. Itâs also fun to talk to them and get messages with their cute little selfies! It was incredibly easy to set up and does a fantastic job at alerting me to their specific activity. The sticky pads it comes with are great! They havenât been able to knock it down or break into the treats which is saying something with these two clever boys!

Best decision to get this!
Initially bought this as a kibble dispenser to at least slow down my puppy’s eating who doesnt know how to chew ð the nanny cam is amazing .my puppy barks a lot and the whistle setting distracts him. I also love that it gives me daily summaries and the cute selfie notification. I can ask Nanny if he barked or cried during the day and it would reply with videos so i dont need to go thru all the videos to find out. Super love it and highly recommended. 2 things i iwish it has is a notification that treat container is empty or running out and camera zoom.

Great product
BOW WOWThis thing is great, recommended to me by my veterinarian. This thing will tell you if your dog is overly excited, panting, drinking, and on top of that, will play music to soothe them.GREAT PURCHASE

Love love love
I love this product so much. I work in the office three days a week and I leave my dog in the bedroom and come home on my lunch to take her out. But I still worry about her when sheâs all alone. This camera has been wonderful. It sends me a notification when sheâs barking. It even sent me a notification when she stands up. It is the coolest product.

Furbo Dog camera is a great product. Video quality is very good. I was happily surprised with the image quality in low light situations (i.e. night vision). The quality of the audio coming through the device microphone could be improved. The audio coming from the device’s speakers is good quality. The camera was easy to setup, and the app is very intuitive, and device-phone pairing is easy.Tossing treats is fun, but the system is a little bit unreliable for tossing one treat. Thus, sometimes it toss multiple treats (60% of the time), and sometimes it does not toss any (30% of the time). I would recommed the product.
Kitty Cat –
This needs to be connected to a good wifi connection to work – so either upgrade your internet or make sure your connection is good. I had a poor connection at first so I fixed that and had no issues from there! The quality is amazing! The video is so clear and I can toss treats to my cat. The only downside is the speaker will echo very loud. I may just need to turn it down to a very quiet level and Iâm sure it will be fine. It stays on and alerts me when my cat is active. I wish you could remove the logo and time stamps off the screenshots and videos you can record. This kind of sucks if you want to use the content for social media websites, etc. Itâs missing a laser pointer in my opinion! Would be great if they made a new model with that feature! Also it does shoot out quite a bit of treats so Iâd suggest maybe mixing some regular fry cat food in with the treats so you can use it more often! 🙂 It does track people too and it updates you on your phone for any noises and such. Unfortunately it doesnât pick up on the animals outside the window but itâs meant for a cat anyways. Itâs a bonus you can use it as a security camera for people though! 🙂 I also like that they create a daily video of all the best moments of your cat that you can save. Itâs fun to see what my cat gets up to! Highly suggest this product!

Positive points:I bought this to give myself some peace of mind while I am away from home. It definitely does that. My dogs recognise when it is in use as the light changes from yellow to blue (colours dogs can see). They usually look up immediately when I turn it on to watch them, even if I don’t activate the microphone or dispense any treats. They quickly learned to recognise the noise it makes to signal that treats are coming and come to get them very eagerly. They also seem to recognise my voice when I speak to them through the microphone and will obey commands I give them. The night vision camera is great for low light conditions and often gives a clearer view than the normal camera, even during the day.The Furbo takes their regular kibble as well as various different brands of treats, so long as they are in small pieces. The unit looks easy to clean and the mechanism hasn’t jammed once after dispensing treats hundreds of times now.I love that I can take photos and videos of my dogs and some of the things they get up to when they think I can’t see them. I just wish I could show them the photo evidence of them caught sitting on the sofa! The barking alerts work well. They are sent promptly and let me check in and decide if I want to speak to the dogs or dispense treats to distract them. It ignores the gruff and growly noises my dogs make when they are just playing nicely together and only picks up and alerts me to a “genuine” bark.Negative points:It took a while to get this set up properly as the Furbo unit wouldn’t maintain a good connection with my router despite it being in direct line of sight and only about three metres away. My phone showed a full wifi signal where I had located the Furbo. The customer services team were excellent. Very helpful and prompt with their replies. After a firmware update and then resetting the Furbo and connecting again it has been much better. I bought a wifi signal booster hoping that would give me 100% reliability for the connection. It is still a bit unstable, but is now good about 95% of the time.At first I could only use the app while I was also at home and using wifi (it wouldn’t connect using mobile data at all – I am on EE). This was a bit pointless. However, after the firmware update and resetting the unit, it now connects perfectly over mobile data so I can keep an eye on my dogs while I am away from home.My dogs would destroy the Furbo unit if they could reach it to get to the treats inside, so I have placed it on a high bookcase. This works well but would be vastly improved if it were possible to tilt the camera downwards. As it is, I have had to tip the whole unit forwards and wedge a block under the base so that it gives a good view of the room. The wide angle is great, but when it is located up as high as I need to have it, I can’t see the floor (which is where my dogs are most of the time – or at least, where they are supposed to be but the sofa is obviously so much more comfortable!) without tipping it forwards. With the Furbo unit in this tilted position it is a little bit unstable and doesn’t fire the treats out so well. It still does, but they tend to just spill or dribble out rather than shoot forwards as they do when it is sitting level. It also gives out far more treats in this tilted position so I am going through them too quickly. As it is not possible to fill the unit with many treats to begin with, this is a problem. There is a slight delay on the camera so it is not ideal for talking to the dogs and timing my words to their behaviour and reactions, but the delay is only about a second so it is not a major issue.Overall, I absolutely love my Furbo. It was expensive but the peace of mind is has given me on the occasions I have needed to leave my dogs at home has been worth it. One dog in particular suffers from separation anxiety and she seems to take comfort from hearing my voice occasionally. Of course, I can’t be sure she recognises it is me speaking, but she recognises her name and some basic commands so it distracts her from whatever she is doing or feeling for a few moments at least.Even with my few criticisms, I would still give this 5 stars.
