How did we start?

Our bird-lover owner despised the hunting habits of his outdoor-going cat, George. Despite trying bells on his collar, George continued to bring birds indoors. Then, one day, George captured a Ruffed Grouse, prompting the owner’s inventive solution. Knowing that birds see bright colors well, she sewed a tube of brightly colored fabric around George’s collar, hoping it would make him more visible to his prey. Remarkably, George stopped catching birds altogether, and the change was evident throughout the seasons.
