Overall effective, but does plug with long hair
This works well for grooming my dogs. It is of good quality and worth the money. The only drawback is that it tends to clog with long hair. Let’s face it, almost everything does.

my cat loves it
I recently got cat, been 30 years since my last one. He has very fine fur and doesn’t shed much, but gets tangles sometimes. I was going to buy a cheap brush and started reading reviews. Every negative review said “It’s not a Furminator!”. So I decided to spend a couple bucks more and buy the real thing. My cat goes nuts every time he sees me pull it out! He even likes me brushing his face. I still can’t get to the belly yet but he is getting better. And it does pull out quite a bit of loose hair, I use an old pocket comb to get the fur out of the brush.

Not huge
Bought this for a small sheltie and it is the best brush we have ever bought. We have had two shelties and our sons two sheltie and wish I had this years ago. Small but gets the knots out and by flipping it over it is then soft

Not for my cat
We have a short haired cat and this didnât do much at all. The handle is great, but the bristles are way too long for a short hair cat. The smoothing side was more effective, but all it really did was collect loose hair and jam up. Iâm glad it works for some people but I wasnât a fan.

It’s designed to withstand a dreadful mess
The detangling side of this brush is great on debris and tangles. And the other side is a good for daily brushing. I’ve dropped this brush a few times, it’s very durable. The grip is very firm with a rubber texture. I really like this product and use it daily.
