Great animal hide
This is a really nice piece of scenery. It’s large, and looks like a rock face. The “steps” made it easy for an animal to crawl up it. My husband has co-opted it for his train setup and currently has a “dragon” making it its cave. It is heavy and seems durable. we are well pleased.

Large Cave/Basking Rock but Hole Size Made for Very Small Critters
This basking rock/cave is sturdy and has a nice basking area. It is quite large, but even though the description mentions bearded dragons, I think the hole on top would be way too small for anything larger than a small lizard or hermit crab. I actually ordered this for a toy bug/reptile/dinosaur sensory play area I am building for my grand kids, (ages 2 & 3) and it is perfect for that. It’s heavy enough to stay in place, but still light enough for the kiddos to move around, so it should work well for small critters as well. The moss is more yellowish than I expected, and it’s not as realistic as others I’ve seen, but it seems well-made and reasonably priced.

better than nothing
Smaller than expected, especially for the price. You can get bigger ones are petco for cheaper. My gecko enjoys it but the picture is misleading as one adult gecko takes up the entire underside and still pokes out a little. The picture must be of babies. Its light but not too light, so it doesnt move when she climbs it. Quality is average and cleans ok, has a lot of nooks and crannies obviously.

Great home for terrarium critters
I got this for a terrarium with 2 toads, and they promptly made themselves at home in it. It is exactly as depicted in the listing. It’s a fair compromise between a mass-produced fake stone casting and hand-detailed colorful and functional ornament. I’ll note that mine arrived with a small crack in the bottom, despite being well-packed in two layers of bubble wrap in a sturdy well-sized box. Not a big deal, and I didn’t even bother gluing it since it won’t experience much stress under the weight of a toad or two. It does make me certain that any sort of fall or drop would see this thing smash to pieces. It’s not as heavy as I expected but it’s not lightweight either.

Looks nice, and many animals could use it
We got this for our hermit crabs. Since it is still winter, we haven’t gotten them yet. Our town has had quite the time getting them in at all right now. We just set up their temporary tank for when we get them, then it’ll be ready after we get the humidity and temperature to 78. I put this in there, and will block the small entrance to keep them from trying to hide the first 3 weeks so they can focus on building up their strength with proper foods, and enrichment before their first molt. Then they will go to their 45 gallon crabitat. This is part of their enrichment, along with other climbing toys. Looks really nice, and we are happy with it.

Good, with one flaw
This cave is pretty much as expected. It is a decent size, and looks fairly realistic, which is what I was going for. It has a decent weight to it. It is not heavy but feels sturdy. My biggest complaint is the seam on the top, which can be seen in my photos. It isn’t a dealbreaker, but I do feel like this edge poses some problems. I believe it can be filed off; it feels kind of sharp, and that would be a problem for nearly any animal you might use this for. The price is not unreasonable and is on par with what I have seen elsewhere. However, to pay an equivalent amount to what one might expect elsewhere, then needing to do some repair work, I wasn’t thrilled. Perhaps there was a quality control issue with this one? I do not know if others will have the same issue.

Nice addition to aquarium, but sharp edges.
I think it looks pretty good in my aquarium, and I’m sure the catfish will love hiding under it, after he’s thoroughly investigated it. The dimensions are accurate.Unfortunately, while the description claims no sharp edges, I found that inaccurate. There are, in fact, sharp edges on the underside of the rock. I think they’re going to be mostly buried in the sand, and the fish shouldn’t have issues anyway.
