The boots receive mixed feedback about their quality and fit, with some finding them perfect while others say they’re too small for their hocks. The durability is concerning, with multiple customers reporting that the neoprene tore after 2-3 uses, and the top strap being too short. While some customers consider them good value for money, others express dissatisfaction with the product.

Great as a wrap
This has been a life saver. I only have pasture and no safe way to keep my arabian up. He received a kick to his hock . A traditional wrap would not stay up. This are fantastic! They’ve helped in the healing and keeping proud flesh at bay with help of the proud flesh remover.I tried the well horse first aide kit. No good at all. Btw….

Not rugged for bed sore protection.
The bands were too short and caused a cut on his leg. Additionally, the neoprene ripped at the bed sore point within 3 days. Just need a little bigger with a tougher exterior.

Does not hold up.
Product fit well over hock . Straps could stand to be longer where they wrap around the leg instead of barely reaching the velcro. Easy to punch hole in it when you are pulling it to fasten on strap. Both of mine tore up after 2 to 3 uses.

Stayed in place
This product stayed in place and supported well!

works well but doesn’t last long
My horse gets “bed sores” from getting up off the ground. This happens on both hocks. I can put these on at night and take them off in the morning and keep the hocks from getting sore. They tend to get worn out easily, as expected, since they are neoprene. But they do the job. I just have to keep buying new ones. Cheaper and better than always using bandages. They seem to last about a month or so.

Not durable at all
While these hock boots stay in place most of the time, they aren’t durable at all. The neoprene ripped within the first couple of days and now just a couple of weeks from purchase, there is already a hole worn on the hock point and the neoprene has ripped on four of the six velcro closures. I’ve tried to cut and resew them but they’re pretty much trashed after less than a month of use.

Complete crap and a waste of money
The boots lasted about 1 week before they ripped at the seems and completely fell apart. Complete crap and a waste of money.
