Helpful for a 17 year old donkey
My husband’s mammoth donkey was a rescue 14 years ago from a severe neglect situation. He’s always had a problem with being prone toward hoof abscesses and a sore knee.He’s sound and does a little bit of riding, but winter is always dicey for him. He tends to be stiff in the morning on cold days. So we tried Buteless last year and it seemed to actually help. This version has curcumin added and that is something we know has worked for us and the dogs.These are large pellets that mix easily with our pelleted feed and alfalfa pellets. He eats everything without problems and hasn’t exhibited any digestive upset. We’ll see how he fares as we roll into winter.

Perfect timing.
We have a retired large hunter pony that has metabolic disease and sometimes has to have bute to ease his pain issues in arthritis and feet. I dont like using bute routinely as he also has stomach digestive problems we address as well. This has been a great choice for him and has caused no digestive upset. Big fresh pellets easy to add to his other SmartPak supplements. Very nice to have a choice that is less harsh.

For myself, I saw no change in my horse with that being said, Iâm sure it all depends on the severity of arthritis you have. I was just very hopeful after reading everyoneâs reviews.
