Great wireless temperature gauge
This wireless temperature gauge is easy to set up, easy to connect to your phone or iPad and works flawlessly. I have 2 of these. One set up in the keys and one at my place in North Carolina and they are great. You can set alarms for high or low temperatures which is important if you are away a lot. Also, this unit is about half the price of other comparable units and works exactly the same. If your looking for a wireless temperature gauge this is a good one and I highly recommend it.

Drains battery quickly.
The battery only last a couple days, then the sensor is dead again. I wasnât looking to replace batteries over and over in the same week.

Works good, instructions printed way to small.
While I got the unit to work & after some trial & error was able to switch it over to Fahrenheit, I don’t know how I did it. The instructions were printed so small I had to take a picture and then zoom in to read them. The app you are supposed to use leaves a lot to be desired. No real help and then in the settings there is a “Switch” button. Have no idea what it does nor is there any help for the app. Even though there is a setting to change the frequency in which the real time temp is displayed, the history record only records at the top of the hour. Glad it was pretty cheap as compared to others. If it had been $25+, I would have sent it back.

Small and Excellent
Great when used with SnartLife app. Would be 5 stars except low battery warnings didnt work and it said 28 degrees in Alabama in August lol. Change batteries and works fkawless.

Works, good value, poor documentation.
It works but was difficult to setup. And as other I want to address my experience as it relates to the other review I read.Regarding the documentation, yes it was limited and extremely hard to read. I too needed to take pictures on my phone and magnify them. The Zigbee gateway is not needed as long as you can pair it with the “Smart Life” app on your phone. You will need to use that reset pin in the package a couple of times while you are pairing it.It was difficult to find the settings button in the app to change to Fahrenheit. This was due to it being labeled as “Set” not “Settings”. Also, the default update rates for temperature were both set to 60 minutes. I ended up changing them to every 1 minute as the initial temperature reported was highly inaccurate. That gave me cause for concern and I was very tempted to return the product. However, I decided to wait it out and it did indeed improve within a few hours where it closely matched other thermometers I had to compare.Figuring out how to remove the back to add batteries was also a challenge and the instructions were no help there. The answer was to push on the back bottom and slide down.I had a 4 pack and needed to rename my 4 devices and also keep track of which physical sensors matched each device. Renaming the devices was a little difficult to find on the app but I was indeed able to find that option. You just need to keep pushing buttons on the app until you find what you are looking for.Integrating it with Alexa was the easiest part though Alexa only reports temperature and not humidity. For humidity you need to look on the Smart Life app.If I could, I would give it high 5 stars for value, 4 stars for functionality, and 1 star for ease of setup. So, 3 overall stars is the option I am choosing. I hope this helps others when they need to setup. I do wish full detailed online documentation was available but couldn’t find it.September 20, 2005Updating this as the batteries went dead in less than one week with 1 minute updates. I have switched back to default mode of hourly updates to see how that does. But still that’s too soon in my opinion, so I dropped down foom 3 to 2 stars.

This saved plants in my greenhouse
Works great, as promised. I have it in my greenhouse. The high and low alarms are critical for my part of the country and have already saved a few plants.
