Delivery was great. My horses donât like the flavor and wouldnât eat it. The cherry smell is incredibly strong.

My picky horse did not approve.
I was excited to try this product for my super picky horse. I trust the quality of SmartPak and this electrolyte is a great value for the price. Unfortunately, as with all electrolytes Iâve tried, my horse will not eat it. I was hoping that the cherry flavor would be more appealing, but I was wrong. I have tried many brands, flavors, and even the pellets but my horse snubs them all. I would still recommend this product as the quality is great and the texture of the product is very fine (almost like a powder). The reason for only three stars is simply because my horse wonât eat it.

Horses like them!
Iâve looked high and low for electrolytes that my horses would actually eat! I got these to try and even my pickiest eater did not leave them in the tub. Enough said, except for Smartpak quality!

Very helpful in 100°+ heat!
Iâve been giving this to my 4 year old gelding for a month now. Our temps were in the 100°+ range for about a month and now high 90°s. Itâs been hot to say the least!My horse seems to be doing well with hydration on this electrolyte blend. He drinks water and stays properly active for riding no signs of fatigue or muscle cramps which come with dehydration.He seems to like the flavor and gobbles it down in his supplement bucket daily. If I work him on a heavier routine I give him 2 scoops since heâs sweating heavily. Otherwise, Iâve been giving him 1 scoop per day.I will continue to have this supplement in his summer and winter routine. We get harsh cold snowy winters and I like to endure proper hydration in the extreme cold as well as in the heat of summer. My opinion is electrolytes help keep any colic at bay in winter because it stimulates them to drink more water to keep that dry feed wet and moving well through the intestines. Soaking feed in the winter is a real pain here because itâs super cold often snowing and I prefer not to become an icicle! Also keeping electrolytes palatable like this one is ensures that the horses actually eat it all!I soak alfalfa pellets in water then add 1-2 scoops of this electrolyte and other supplements then feed to him and he eats it right up!Great supplement for the working horse!
