Birds need water!
Very nice looking bird âwaterer.â I was leaving for a vacation and wanted to make sure there was water for the birds during the heat of summer.The bottom is a light weight material, not sure what. After filling the glass and screwing on the bottom I had to flip it over quickly so as not to lose too much water. I used a hook to hang it on a tree branch.Birds needs water! They like my bird bath but I since itâs shallow I couldnât keep it filled while I was gone.

Nice, petite bird water dispenser
Still looks great, sturdy. Perfectly hangs in a smaller tree, just needs more frequent filling. Only gave it four stars because I feel you lose too much water when filling this water dispenser when itâs turned upright. The base design could be the reason.

Not Recommended
The glass portion is sturdy, easy to clean and screws into the base easily. The glass sits upside down and screws into the base so the water can accumulate from the glass. The problem is that it’s easy for the openings to get clogged with debris. It’s gross. This prevents the water in the glass piece from emptying into the base. There is a lining/film in the base that came loose in pieces. This causes the water to be discolored, and then entire feeder needs to be cleaned. Water in the glass portion gets dirty quickly which results in more cleaning. This feeder would have been easier to maintain had the base not had the cheap, flimsy lining added.

It was great until it wasnât
I bought in the summer. Itâs beautiful. It held up very well. The birds loved it. Easy to clean. Then the winter came and it snowed. I went to add birdseed in feeders and saw glass on the ground. Looked up and the glass had broke from the freeze. I was very disappointed. I thought it would be durable. It was durable until it wasnât â¦. I would have gave a 2 star, but I added a star because I loved the color.

Great took some tips from the reviews and found a way to equalize the water and keep the water bottle full⦠Success!!! Waiting now to see birds get used to it and go there for water. Located near my birdfeeder.
