Satisfied Customer ð¤©
I purchased the 20lb(3-9inch) natural slate stone. Although these are marketed for use in an aquarium; I used them for a small outdoor landscaping project.I was satisfied with the variety of sizes, shapes, and number of stones received.Because I wanted a wet look (but not shiny); I sprayed the stones with a coat of matte clear spray paint. The stones turned out exactly the way I wanted. I plan to repurchase for another project.By the way, I did not need to prep the stones (like wash them) before painting. The process is quite simple and fast as the paint dries quickly.

Theyâre stones. ð¤·ââï¸
Theyâre stones. Not much more to say. They came in fully intact, and the sizes are a pretty good range. One somewhat large one, one âsmediumâ one and one small one. My leopard gecko enjoys climbing and sitting on them.

Aquarium Rocks
The rocks are very good but you do have to note they are sold by the pound and not by what the pictures looks like. We received only four rocks. We kept them but was disappointed.

Not for Terra/Aquarium
I had purchased these for an aquarium; but almost all of rocks came with multiple iron rust spots that can really hurt an aquarium. It seems like the rocks havenât been soaked or cured in any way, and were simply just pulled and rinsed. Now I am aware that slate typically contains some iron, especially in the cracks and crevices; but I also know there are steps to remove as much as possible and cure the rock to help prevent it from leeching. With this much rust though, it does not seem to be the case. Returning seems to be a pain or thereâs some kind of problem that keeps sending me back to the main page; but Iâve decided that for the price and not having to go through the hassle of sending them back, iâm going to properly treat them and allow them to sun dry for a couple of weeks so i can confidently use them in my bearded dragon tank. They look nice and if you live in an area that you canât find these kinds of rocks for crafting or a plant project, they would work. I just couldnât give more than 2 stars considering how much rust was showing, and I definitely donât agree with advertising them for terrariums and aquariums. The picture shown is after I rinsed them and allowed them to sun dry for about a day.
