Could be better but works
It works for it’s purpose but it could be a lot better.I have one bunny and we go thru this very quickly. It’s absorbent but not as well as it could be. I have to use a good bit to keep urine from the bottom of his litter box, and I change it daily. It would be nice for it to be more absorbent so I could go to changing it every other day. Just so the product would last longer.There is no odor control in this product. So when you change it out there is still that strong ammonia smell. I think this is one of the turn offs from people having bunnies as pets so if you could add in odor control it would make a huge difference.

Last awhile, good value and safe for the mice
Using this for my mouse tank. They absolutely love this stuff and pile it up to make burrows. I feel good knowing that it wont spinter and harm them. It also absorns the urine quite well. The smell not so well on but i cant fault them for that. Also the way it is packed in, means that it actually expands into alot. With my 10 gallon tank it lasted about a month. With me changing it once a week.

Perfect, keeps the odour from our hedgehog to a minimum and looks natural. Is easy to clean and hedgie seems to find it very comfortable

I have four pet mice and I got this bedding for them but I realized a few things that were not so good. When I was pouring this bedding into the cage I noticed it was a bit dusty but it didnât alarm me too much because it didnât affect my mice. It was only until later on when I realized my mice were actually eating the bedding I wasnât too worried because they seemed to just fade out of that habit. I was very glad that they stopped eating the carefresh bedding because it is really good with absorbency and odor control. It was unbelievable when it had been a few days after I cleaned the cage and I could still not smell anything from the cage. Overall this bedding is by far the best odor control bedding I have tried and the price is also fairly good being not too expensive. I recommend this bedding for anyone looking for good odor control but if your small animal starts to eat it but doesnât stop by itself then it is best to use different bedding and not risk any health problems. I have a 7x2CC cage for my guinea pigs, this so called 14 ltr bag only thinly covered about a 3rd of it. Although itâs great and soaks up and masks the smell of the animal waist itâs just not worth the price for quantity. Perfect size bag for a hamster cage Iâd say.
