Not for narrow barred enclosures
This cage mounted water and feeder is a nice addition for small pet owners. In my case, a rabbit. The quality of pieces are well made. The plastic is not thin and flimsy.There are no instructions so you do have to figure it out. It shouldnât be complicated for most adults as the pieces are packaged with each (water stuff with water, feed stuff with the feeder).The slit in the middle of the feeder is nice to allow more possibilities with placement.My only comment, if using with a small pet cage; this will NOT work. We have a TSC rabbit cage for our rabbit to be in at night and when home alone for safety. Due to the bars being close together, I did have to âmodifyâ the cage with wire cutters. (My rabbit is only in this small cage at night and when home alone. Typically he is terrorizing the house as someone is typically always home with him).The feeder and water unit being external of the cage really save on space for the fur baby to relax. Cleaning it is easy, I will recommend getting a bottle brush for the water container to ensure a thorough clean.The 1st picture is before, 2nd and 3rd are showing where it wonât fit smaller bars, 4th is the final product.

Not impressed with the feeder – the waterer however is nice
They are predictably, pretty cheaply made. The feeder had a little piece on the bottom that was almost completely broken off when we got it. It’s not a terribly important piece, but still kind of annoying. I do really like the feature in the lid of the waterer that I wish more animal watering systems had. It has a screw on lid with a spring that pushes up when installed. It allows you to fill it, put the lid on the bottle, turn it upside down with out spilling anything, then once it’s in the base upside down, the base pushes up on the lid and the water comes out. The feeder has a little groove that I can see food getting stuck in – I think it would be difficult to clean.

Not the best quality
I am not impressed with this product. I plan on using this for my cat’s food and water, as I’m sometimes away from home for a few days, leaving her alone. The feeders are smaller than I was expecting, but that might be my fault as I didn’t scrutinize any of the product info prior to ordering. They came as separate components which you have to piece together- which wouldn’t have been a problem if they’d included even a very basic instruction guide, but they did not include any additional information whatsoever- not even a product/component flyer. So I had to work by studying the product pictures and guess at how they fit together. The pieces are a very flimsy, light weight, low-quality plastic, and thus it is somewhat difficult to trust that every part is clipped in/screwed on/set correctly, as they don’t slide into place easily, securely or intuitively- so it remains to be seen if I’ll have any leaks. There are also a few odd parts for which I have no idea what the purpose is. There’s a little “tray” type of inset for one of the bowls, and the little gray “dial” looking pieces with the paw-print impression has no actual purpose that I can surmise. It literally just haphazardly screws on to another piece of plastic that protrudes from the base…so it must be decorative? But even then, they end up sitting upside down so that’s weird too. I’m low-key a bit concerned about microplastics and BPA leaching as the plastic seems very low quality. I don’t know, I’m assuming they’ll work in a pinch, but I’m not impressed.

This pet feeder and water dispenser set is adorable and super convenient! The design is sturdy, easy to clean, and works exactly as expected both the food and water flow smoothly without clogging. It keeps everything fresh and tidy throughout the day, which is perfect for my cat.It didnât come with any instructions, but I was able to find a setup guide on the product page photos, which helped a lot. Once assembled, it was simple to use. I also wouldnât consider it large capacity, itâs more suitable for a cat or small pet rather than a puppy or large dog, since it doesnât hold a ton of food or water.That said, the build quality is great, the colors are cute, and it makes feeding so much easier. I love that itâs quiet, functional, and looks nice in my home.Overall, this feeder and water dispenser set is well-made, easy to use, and perfect for smaller pets. Just note that itâs not truly large capacity and doesnât include printed instructions. ð±ð

Too small
I just got the GPY Automatic Hanging Gravity Pet Feeder and Water Dispenser Set and Automatic Rabbit Feeder.The Federer is smaller than expected. Easy to assemble, no instructions included. Made out of plastic, it feels a bit cheap-ish. I chose the color grey. I have an 18-year-old senior Maltese. He steps into everything, he is blind now. At night, I have him in a Playpen and, of course, provide him water. But he is kicking over the water bowl so often that I need to get the water off the ground. I hope these 2 feeders will solve my issue.But I am concerned that this set is too small, and the material seems flimsy and thin. I think it would be a good size for a Guinea pig or hamster. I don’t think it is big enough for my small dog. When using the water bottle, make sure you press the bottle all the way in, with a little force, because otherwise the water will just keep flowing as seen in my picture.I am really torn with this one, the quality is just not there. Unfortunately, I can not recommend it.
