Product description

Zoo Med Laboratories has been on the cutting edge of reptile husbandry and innovation for nearly 50 years. In 1993 Zoo Med developed the 1st UVB lamp for reptiles, which changed the way all Zoos, herpetologist, and hobbyists keep reptiles in captivity.

High-Output UVB Daylight Lamps Enhance Your Reptile’s Habitat
The Zoo Med T5 HO ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Daylight Lamps provide essential UVB lighting for your reptile’s health and well-being. These high-output lamps are designed for larger habitats and desert species, emitting stronger and brighter UVB light to help prevent or reverse metabolic bone disease.

UVB
Zoo Med’s T5 HO bulb emits UVB rays, replicating part of the sun’s natural light spectrum. UVB exposure is essential for most reptiles, as it enables them to produce vitamin D3, which is necessary for proper calcium absorption and overall health.

UVA
Boost your reptile’s natural instincts! Zoo Med’s T5 HO bulb provides beneficial UVA light that stimulates appetite, increases activity, and encourages healthy reproductive behavior—helping your pets stay active and engaged.

Zoo Med’s T5 HO bulb is the perfect choice for desert reptiles or reptiles in large habitats—ideal for bearded dragons, Rankin’s dragons, horned lizards, tortoises, and many other species that thrive under strong UV lighting.

Work with Zoo Med’s T5 HO Terrarium Hood.

Great uvb bulbs
Easy to install and works great in my Arcadia and reptizoo light fixtures! One was not working, but Amazon sent me a replacement very quickly. I highly recommend the Reptisun brand for uvb for your bearded dragons. The price for 3 bulbs was pretty good considering I canât find these anywhere anymore.

I bought this only 3 months ago (August 10th) and it stopped admitting UVB rays (Iâm guessing a few weeks ago) as I noticed my beardie wasnât happy, not as active and not wanting to eat his greens on his own – I thought he was going to brumate. Then the bulb burnt out the other day so I changed it and heâs already starting to change his behaviour for the better.I donât know if these bulbs are used or not but thatâs a big problem when reptiles rely on specific lighting to survive and because these bulbs are supposed to last at least 6 months I didnât think to change it.Hopefully my experience with the purchase of these lights from this seller is the only one!
