Customers say
Customers find these gloves to be of good quality, comfortable, and functional, working well for light duty in harsh winters. The warmth and fit receive mixed feedback – while some say they keep hands dry and warm, others find them not warm enough and too small. Moreover, customers disagree on whether they’re suitable for extreme cold weather, with some finding them adequate while others say they’re not good for NY winters. Additionally, waterproof performance is mixed, with some saying they keep hands dry while others report getting wet. Value for money opinions are divided, with some considering them well worth the price while others find them overpriced.

Nice winter gloves
Lets get this out of the way, I have never ridden a horse. So if you are looking for opinions about using these gloves for their intended purpose of horseback riding then skip to the next review.I was looking for some nice warm winter gloves that still left me with the dexterity to say, put my cell phone in my pocket without taking the gloves off. These gloves fit the bill. They are very warm but still flexible enough to be able to use my fingers pretty well. They also seem to be extremely durable as I imagine they would have to be to use them horseback riding.I think the stretchy warm cuff of the glove that snugly fits your wrist has a lot to do with the warmth of these gloves as it seems to be pretty effective at trapping the heat in there. They seem to be pretty water resistant. As a test I put them under my kitchen faucet and the water mostly just beaded off the glove.Pros:-Warm-Good dexterity for the size of glove-Kind of nice and a little high tech looking-Pretty water resistantCons:-A little pricey-Don’t have that nifty feature where you can use a cell phone touch screen with them on (not that I would fault them for not having that being that as far as I know horses aren’t generally equipped with touch screen displays). I’m thinking of ordering some of that conductive thread and sewing it in to the fingers to make these touch screen compatible.Side note: There is an older version of this glove out there with the same name and description. You can tell it’s the older version based on the photos of the glove (they look somewhat different). The reviews that I read for the older one were fairly bad and they don’t look as nice aesthetically so if you order the gloves somewhere just make sure the photo shows the new ones. You can see the new ones for reference on the manufacturers website.

Was what i was looking for
It is very warm and great, before i would use two gloves for my morning comute of 30 min. On my motorcycle, And i would get there not feeling my fingers no more but with this item, the cold still penetrated but i got there with just starting to get cold fingers. My fingers were not hurting but then again it is cold in the morning. I would highly recommened these gloves. They are not too bulky and are very warm but if you put them on while your fingers are already cold and then you ride on a motorcycle is will not do much but if you warm up for at least 2 min, inside it will be very good. My commute consist of 20 min. On residential roads going 40 mph, and 50mph in some areas and 10 min. On highway at 60 mph so i believe that these gloves were what i was looking for would highly recommend them

hoping for the best. In terms of size and fit
A lot has already been said, so I’ll just try to add what I can. These gloves utilize Thinsulate technology to keep your hands warm… which is basically run of the mill – they do not provide much extra warmth from any other common winter glove.I bought these basically for their available sizes. There’s a lot of feedback regarding sizing up or down; however, I think a lot of people might not know what to expect in terms of proper fit of gloves. I found these to be true to size.I’m male with small hands – size 8 when it comes to properly fitting leather gloves. That is tight enough to let the leather stretch a bit to form fit the hands and fingers after a few uses; not so tight that I’m not able to get all my fingers in. I bought these Heritage gloves also in size 8, hoping for the best. In terms of size and fit, I got the best. They were tight the first time I put them on. Now, after wearing them for a couple of weeks, they’ve stretched enough that I don’t have a problem slipping them on.They feel secure on my hands and I have good mobility with them. Department store gloves come only in Small, Medium, Large and maybe Extra Large. On the rare occurrence that I can find a small pair, the fingers may still not fit as well as I would like. These gloves wrap the fingers well. With most other gloves I’ve owned in the past, there’s some space in the fingers and that’s enough to either make them a little less maneuverable or a little less warm. Your mileage may vary because hands are not all proportionally the same. It’s been fairly cold in the teens these past few weeks in Boston. These have kept my hands warm for the 15-20 minutes I’m outside waiting for the commuter rail or walking home. After 20 minutes, I feel my hands grow a bit colder… but definitely not freezing cold. I wear a suit to work and I used to think I needed fashionable black leather gloves to go with my top coat. A bit older and wiser, I now opt for function over form. These are definitely warmer than leather gloves. They also don’t look like bulky winter gloves that Columbia or Northface make.I also used these when operating the snow blower and shoveling during the 2015 Juno blizzard. I never noticed the cold in my hands despite being outside for 3 hours. This is probably largely due to being on the move and building up enough body heat to stay warm. They did not get wet from the outside, but rather got wet from the sweat my hands built up – this is not uncommon with any pair of gloves. I did notice that they take a while to dry out. I actually did put them on wet before going out a couple of occasions, but they were otherwise pretty comfortable.Would I buy these again? Probably not… would like to try something else. I don’t regret buying these at all. I’d just like to see what else is out there. I don’t think it will be very soon, though.

I use these gloves for flying a paraglider
I use these gloves for flying a powered paraglider, so I’m flying outside in the cold air doing about 25mph. I was looking for something to keep me warm when the temperature was in the 40s taking into account the wind chill at 25mph. I also needed gloves in which I could use my hands to grab and control the glider and the throttle. These gloves work very well. I have been flying in about 42 degree weather for over one hour at a time and my hands stay warm. The last pair of gloves I tried almost let me get frostbite from how fast my hands got cold. These gloves fit snug, but not overly tight. They actually feel like part of me. I can handle the throttle, the glider, and not even give a thought to having cold hands. The size runs true. I have an 8 1/2 inch measurment on my hands and I purchased a size 9 which fits perfectly. At first I wasn’t used to how much of a second skin these gloves are. However, after using them twice they fit perfectly and do keep my hands really warm. I’m not sure how they will do in really cold weather in the teens or lower, but for my use, they really work well. I would recommend these gloves for the purpose I use them for. Many guys spend big dollars to buy battery powered gloves. For my purposes and the temperature I fly in, these work great. The gloves grab things very well too!
