Very good thermometer
I put this in my greenhouse and it is an app on my phone so I can see the temperature inside the greenhouse whenever I like. It shows the humidity also. The reading is quite accurate and it’s very functional. The Bluetooth connection is good the only thing is it’s pretty slow to read the temperature. I don’t know about the battery life yet because it’s still working and I’ve had it for 6 months.

Easy peasy out of the package. App interface is easy to use and the graphs are nice. Im always monitoring places for temp and humidity. This was for the garage attic which I originally believed to be hot all the time but it varies way too much. I also want use it in my crawl space and for when sometimes water goes into the basement.

I bought this device to monitor a property that is currently vacant. It is two miles from my home. The house does have WiFi, which is used to connect this device to the internet.I set it with a minimum and maximum temperature for an alert. If it hits those numbers, I receive an Alert.In central Ohio, this winter it is imperative that I know what the temperature is in the house. It truly has given me a peace of mind. I donât need to run over every day to be sure the house temperature is okay and to be sure the furnace is working.I check the App daily to be sure everything is okay.Highly recommended!!

Easy set up, easy use and very convenient
Im trying to hatch a few peafowl eggs, which are notoriously delicate and therefore quite challenging to hatch in an incubator and so i wanted to have a secondary reading of the temperature and humidity because of how detrimental the difference of a single degree or the slightest range of RH can be for peafowl eggs.I tested the govee wifi thermometer against two other thermometers, one digital and the other digital/bluetooth, and everything more or less checked out.Set up was quick, even more so because i already had the “govee home” app downloaded. Interface is straightforward and easy.I really appreciate being able to set a temperature and a humidity range and be alerted if the device reads outside that range but my favorite part is all the collected data. This way i can note down the average temperature and RH by the hour and day, without actually having to sit there and watch the incubator all day; whether this egg incubation fails or succeeds, these notes will eventually be my guide for future incubations.Overall a great device to have for anything temperature and/or humid sensitive.

Worked great, terrible customer service
This device worked great for the first winter after purchasing. I use it in my well house to warn me if the temperature drops during winter months. I changed the batteries this winter, it connected to my phone, but never warned me about my well house freezing. I asked customer service to help as I noticed no matter what I tried, the device would say it connected to wifi successfully, but in actuality it would tell me it is not connected as soon as it was out of range from my phone for Bluetooth. Customer service will not help because it is not under warranty. They wonât even suggest things to try.This is an awesome device, just hope you donât ever need to ask customer service for help.
