Simple set-and-forget temperature and humidity monitoring
I’m using this combo temperature and humidity sensor/alarm to monitor and protect the server rack I have in my basement. With so much money invested in sensitive equipment in one place, I want to keep tabs on the operating environment.This well-built combo device took only a few minutes to configure and provides reassuring monitoring of the temperature and humidity levels. You simply enter your minimum and maximum acceptable levels, and if the unit detects a change outside of your parameters, the audible alarm will sound and the alert light will flash. You even get the option to trigger an external heater/fan/dehumidifier/etc. if the alarm sounds to help correct the issue. So far, it’s been working great, and for the very reasonable price, I feel better knowing my electronics have a fighting chance if I start taking water into my basement.Recommended.

Accurate, easy to install, works well.
Great for greenhouses, or other areas where temp and humidity are critical. Large enough to see, but small enough to be unobtrusive. Temperature and humidity readings match the accuracy of a more expensive unit I have on hand very closely. Overall, the unit functions exactly as expected, is easy to install and use, and provides easy reference to humidity and temperature levels.

Easy to get into operation
This is a combination alarum system which presents a visual and audible indication when the air around the monitor is too hot or too cold and the humidity is too high or too low depending on where you set the values. The unit plugs into standard 110 house voltage. The plug assembly is a transformer that steps it down to the 12 volts necessary for system operation. In addition to the alarms being activated when values are exceeded the unit provides a 12 volt external output that comes on when the alarum sounds to energize a heater or blower to help return the values to normal. The unit came with good instructions, was easy to install, is fairly accurate, and works as designed.Damon M. Tatem

Basement
We have some water intrusion in a basement and we need to keep it monitored to prevent mold and to know if our fix is working. This humidity and temp monitor is easy to set up. It has an alarm that sounds if it detects out of range which you can adjust to your needs. It also has a visual alarm too!

I plan to use this for a climate-controlled closet that I dry candy in. I want it to kick on the dehumidifier if it gets too humid. The person who is building it for me says it will work perfectly, but hasn’t had time to install it yet. He says it is good quality, will be easy to use, and was a good value for the price.
