So fun – the cats love it!
I was actually skeptical – thinking I should get one with carpet on the base. I thought it would grip better and I thought the kittens may not even like the ball game.I was wrong. They love this thing. They play with the hanging toys, they scratch at the post part and they love the ball game.I took that video 30 minutes ago and they are both still at it – chasing the balls, moving them through the channel, chasing each other and having a great time.The whole scratching post only moves around as much as our old one did (it was one that had a carpeted base. It moves a few inches if they launch their bodies at it or hook it with their paws and drag. No big deal. We have hardwood floors – so things are bound to move.This wood base has rubber feet and those protect the floor nicely. These two orange kittens are entertaining themselves with this super fun Mecool scratching post.The item shipped fast in a nice manufacturer box. It came with screws, instructions and an Allen wrench to tighten the top and bottom screw. The value for money is excellent. Quality seems great. And the toys are hung from a good strong wood dowel using leather cord. Seems quite durable. The size and height are perfect for small cats. I donât know if theyâll need anything bigger when they grow.I am satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend this functional toy for cat happiness and scratching.

Good secondary scratcher
Smaller scratching post which is a good extra scratchers for your cat. The base is heavy so it has never toppled while my cat uses it. My cats enjoyed the little balls in the base but it has now lost its novelty. They still use the scratcher and the scratcher part is still intact.

Almost perfect
This is a great scratch post + cat toy, excellent value for money. It is ready to assemble and is quite sturdy. Its neutral colors go well with any decor. The only fault I can find with it is the attachment in the middle of the post as it interferes with scratching, and cats keep hitting it and hurting themselves. I have therefore removed the middle attachment altogether and use it as a separate toy.

Very sturdy cat tree
This scratching post was very easy to assemble. My 2 cats are young and very active. They like toys but also lose interest quickly. My 9 month old cat especially loves the interactive ball track. She can be entertained by that for quite awhile. It is designed so the balls don’t come out. This scratching post is exactly what I was looking for with it’s sturdy base. It has never tipped over. My cats like to do a lot of racing and jumping. My 18 month old cat prefers the scratching post and it is her favorite one. She is long and can stretch far on this. I thought the feather toys would be quickly destroyed, but they are played with and have stayed fully intact. The attached ball is not of interest to either of my cats, but there are plenty of other parts they do use. Maybe they just haven’t really discovered it yet. I love this scratching post for my cats.

Misty loves her new scratching post. It’s super sturdy and fun.
Love it, very sturdy with two levels of sisal which she loves to scratch. Heavy base keeps it upright, balls and feathers for extra play. Good price, fast shipping, easy assembly.

Lots of activities and will not tip over
I thought the price was a little high at first for a scratcher. But this is so worth it. The real wood base is over an inch thick and you can tell it is solid wood as it is very heavy. It is not top heavy, so my cats could knock it over. My cat would not get out of the way to let me put it together as she wanted and did play with the base and the inserted balls. She carried away the feather stick too lol. Easy to put together, all the screws and tool to tighten were included. As you can see there are 3 activities plus the long scratcher for them to stretch while scratching. The balls will not even come out but can spin in the circle effortlessly. This is very important to me as they are small and if they could come out they could choke and/or get lost. This will never happen unless the wood cracks.Only tiny con is there is a small space between the feather toy and the 2 sicle scratchers. Don’t know if that might effect long-term use but I doubt it. If after months of use and if it doesn’t live up to this high praise, will update.

So much fun for a cat!!
Our cat loves his new scratch post!! It is easy to assemble and very sturdy. I love that the base is a solid piece of MDF, not particle board that has easily fallen apart on other scratch posts we have had. There are also soft pads on the bottom so floors do not get scratched. He has played with all aspects of the scratch post from the feathers to the in set balls. He canât get enough of it!! Highly recommend!!

Sturdy and my kitten loved it untilâ¦
Sturdy and easy to assemble scratcher that hasnât tipped over from my wild kitten running & jumping on. He really loves playing with the balls in the track too. I really thought this was a great purchase until yesterday when one of his paws got stuck/twisted in the track where the play balls are. the track should be wider to give more room for cats to move around, less potential of twisting. He was screaming bloody murder then limping so now unfortunately itâs going in the trash because I donât want to risk a broken limb on any cats (even ones that arenât mine)! Just something to consider if you have a high energy cat!
