Great little bird feeder
Two at a great price. Easy to hang up, water seeps through with the holes on the bottom, but the seed stays put so the birds can easily have their treat. I have ordered this multiple times because it is not too big, just right even for a couple of mourning doves to sit on the edge and swing patiently around as they nibble the contents. I highly recommend. The quality has lasted, with the chain rusty just a wee bit with moisture, but otherwise, the tray has stayed clear of rust for the safety of the bird friends.

Fantastic! Attracts 10 times more birds
I have 3 bird feeders. Two of them are the traditional type with a covered central part that holds seed. The third feeder is this open feeder. All 3 feeders have the same black oil sunflower seed. The birds definitely like this open feeder the best. There is just a continuous stream of small birds to this feeder. I have to completely refill it every day. I think the birds feel safer with the open feeder. It is mounted about 10 feet off the ground and about 1 foot away from our kitchen window. I use 1/16 inch stainless steel cable to hold it because a squirrel chewed through rope. The cable is looped over a hook above the feeder, then extends to a lower point so that I can lower the feeder to refill it.

Using for chicken treats
I bought these for treats in my chicken coop. They seem to be working well as I attached them to a long hook and chain. I donât think that they would hand easily without my additional chain. My chickens seem to enjoy following them to get their treats and I like that they canât easily climb into them to stand and poop on their treats. They were easy to hand once I untangled the chains and so far seem to be holding up well.

Nice little bird feeders. The mesh is small enough that even small seeds donât fall through. The price is excellent for 2 feeders.

well made little feeders. for the money the quality is really good. the birds eat from them and that’s all i care about. the good thing is if you have special feed for certain birds, you can separate from regular black seed oil and they don’t have to fight anything but the squirrels, of which i have seen none. the feeders are too small for them as far as i can tell.

Best for smaller birds.While this tray feeder is very well made and hangs easily – it is very small. I have one hanging outside on my porch, and I’m disappointed the cardinals and blue jays won’t land on it. Maybe it’s too tippy for their size? Definitely too small for the fat doves that visit my feeder.This feeder seems to be popular with the smaller birds – blue birds, finches and wrens.

This is a small feeder that is perfect for birds. Holes in bottom of tray allow water to drain but not seeds.
