Excellent bulbs for an excellent price! You really can’t beat TWO heat bulbs for $10. They last a good amount of time as well because my beardie has a 12 hour light shift and after 2 months the bulb is still lighting up.

This basking bulb works exactly as it should. It produces an ample amount of heat for various-sized aquariums. It is excellent for reptiles, but it can also be used for chicks and plants. However, that is true as long as you have a decent set up for them. It does exactly as it should.

I’ve had bad experiences with many UVA bulbs from Amazonâsome went out after only a month, others completely fell apart from simply screwing/unscrewing them; however, not these so far. I have the light about a foot from the basking area and it keeps the surrounding area at temperatures ranging from 87 degrees fahrenheit to 127 right in the center. The bulb has lasted 2 months so far being on 12 hours a day. If you are looking to buy UVA bulbs without breaking the bank at pet stores, I would highly recommend these. Just ensure the fixture and outlets support the electrical output, the temperatures are optimal, and that the animals have areas to cool off.
