Customers say
Customers find the binocular harness to be a good quality piece of gear that works well for hunting and is good value for money. They appreciate its comfort, with one customer noting zero chafing or pinching, and its functionality, with one mentioning it works perfectly under backpack straps. The fit receives mixed feedback – while it fits almost any binoculars, some customers find it extremely tight. The closure ease and strap length are also mixed aspects, with several customers reporting issues with the flap not staying closed and straps not being long enough. The size receives negative feedback, with customers finding it too small for their needs.

Great piece of kit, works well with a backpacking bag.
I do a lot of field work hiking many miles a day and carrying a lot of different equipment. This harness has been great for me to keep misc. items (Maps, Pliers, tape, water, radio, gps, etc.) Build quality seems great, I imagine the tension strap will be the first thing to go, but it doesn’t feel like that’ll happen any time soon. This harness doesn’t put really any weight on my shoulders, the chest straps can make it difficult to get a full breath if it’s too tight, but that’s an easy fix, just loosen it a bit. It also fits very well under my 70L backpacking bag with zero chafing or pinching, I don’t even notice the straps on this at all.Overall a nice piece of kit that I will more than likely be purchasing again when this one gets worn out. 30 bucks seems like a steal for the quality.

Nikons fit
Had this bino harness about about a week ago. Was hesitate on ordering after reading another review about nikons don’t fit. I have the nikon prostaff P3 10Ã42 and they fit perfect. The harness is built with quality and adds the extra protection for your binos will outdoors

Not wide enough for porro prism binocs
The case for the binocular is designed for narrower roof prism binoculars: the kind with straight barrels, not the zig-zag barrels of a porro prism design. So the latter wont fit. Didnt realize that when i ordered this. Too bad, because it looks like a good quality piece of gear. Just be aware of that limitation.

Good for archery
I keep my rangefinder in it, if your standing up itâs great to shoot bow with but obviously not sitting down. I just wish it was magnetic.

Very well made. Has plenty of padding for optics
For the price I though it was going to be made very poorly. I was very pleased to see that it was made very well. Has all the straps for harness and optics. Very well padded to protect optics inside. The closer is a bungee loop so not noise like Velcro or a button would make. So if you are out scouting it wont scare anything away. Has a zipper pocket and a couple of net pouches on the sides. Very impressed.

Professional Review
This is the one Steve Rinella uses. This should be the only info you need.Thing is seriously well made. Comfortable. Sturdy. Does it look good? Kid, let me tell you a story.I wore it for a hiking trip with my kids. Looking for wildlife while towing those screaming cretins is a bit stupid, but there you go. Saw another dad on the trail who asked me for directions. I helped him out best I could but told him it was my first time on that trail for over 20 years. You know what he said? He says to me he says “You just look like you know what you’re doing.”You know why he said it. He said it because I had this thing on. A chest harness makes that skinny annoying dude on TLC that your wife likes look like Grizzly Adams.I have no affiliation with Vortex Optics and no consideration was given for this review. Vortex if you read this, I would like to be affiliated with you and receive consideration.

Strap quality and size
The pouch fits the Vortex Razor UHD 8×42 binocs, but I wouldn’t go larger than that. The closing elastic works, but due to how the catch hook is sewn in, its not a one handed job. I needed to hold the hook and then stretch the elastic over it. The stretch was large, so I have doubts about the longevity of it.I wasn’t too fond on the quality of the straps themselves. Thin straps and the buckles didn’t have the feel they’d last too long. However, I ultimately decided to return the pouch because the chest straps weren’t large enough. Fine with a T-shirt, but if I layered up with a coat, they wouldn’t fit or be comfortable. Don’t see an “extension” option, so back the pouch went.At the cost, the pouch is fine if you’re a smaller person, just don’t have hopes of it lasting that long.

Can’t beat the price on this bino harness. Yes, the straps don’t have the extra padding that other brands have. But for under $50, you can’t beat it. Just note that the side pockets and rear zippered pocket are tight and small. Touch to fit many items into these spaces. I slip my knife onto one of the straps and my rangefinder onto the other. Works perfectly. All my other gear goes into pockets or my pack. Fits my 10X42 Vortex Diamondbacks easily.
