Quality trap cover that does the job it’s meant for
This trap cover is such a great purchase and gets used frequently! The quality of the cover is extremely durable, the material is easy to clean and fits the live humane trap like a glove! It’s easy to leave on while the trap is set, allowing both ends to remain exposed to ensure successful trapping. Extremely efficient and makes transporting trapped cats a breeze!

    Great idea
Great idea so you don’t startle the animals that are in there . It’s fits perfectly on most 32 inch traps . I had to cut the top of mine to make it fit because of the release lever.

Trap works well and is humane.
Works well for kitties and kittens. The door opposite the one that closes on the animals must be zip tied. The first kitten I caught got out. With zip ties it is impossible to escape.I am having these kittens neutered, vaccinated and have found homes for them. Have not used it for any other animals. Photo is my curious kitty exploring. TNR is not so easy but this trap works well.

    Works, but…
The cover is well made, fit my trap perfectly. But I had a unique issue, as you see in the photo I caught a skunk all good, then came along a large raccoon who wanted to get to the remaining bait.. Apparently skunks and raccoons get along, as the skunk never sprayed. The raccoon pulled the cover off and the moved the trap around until he got to the remanning bait. So, what I’m going to do now is use some zip ties to keep the cover on, and some large rocks to weigh down the trap.I used a large tarp to protect me while I moved the trap to a release location. Always approach from the closed door end to act as a shield and throw the tarp over the trap. At least the skunk won’t have a straight shot at you.I did catch the raccoon raider the following night.

Sharp Edges – Injured Feral Cat Badly
I bought this cage in May last year but only used it today to trap a feral cat for a TNR program. Unfortunately, I quickly realized that the cage has multiple dangerously sharp edges—on the top plate, the metal plate, and the areas where metal clips are attached. The poor cat kept bumping his head, gouging his skin to the point where there was blood everywhere. By the time I got him to the vet, his fur was torn off in places, and he was clearly in pain. It was a horrible, heartbreaking experience. While the cage technically functioned as a trap, the finishing is absolutely terrible. The sharp edges aren’t immediately obvious—you have to run your hand along the inside from the animal’s perspective to truly feel them. I deeply regret not doing this beforehand. Now, the cat has injuries he never had before, and to make matters worse, the TNR program doesn’t provide first aid beyond spaying/neutering and vaccinations. I have no idea what condition he’ll be in when I get him back tomorrow. After seeing the injuries, I used needle-nose pliers and some tape to modify the cage since the cat would be in it for about 10 hours. I just didn’t want him to keep hurting himself. Unfortunately, these modifications came too late—after he had already been injured. So, instead of returning it, you could try modifying it before using it. Had I known, I would have done that first. On a positive note, the included cover seems well-made, and I was glad to have the option. The TNR folks elected not to use it and chose a basic sheet instead. It does seem thick, so I wonder if airflow would have been an issue during the long drive if it had been fully closed.Whether you buy this or any other cage, always check for sharp edges before using it. This one is a safety hazard, and I would never recommend using it as-is. Beware.

Cover is Great Except I Can’t Get It To Close
The product is great and covers the trap very well, however either the side flaps are not long enough, or the connecting ?buttons? are not big enough, because they won’t close under the trap. Everything else is flawless. I’m keeping it because it’s useful for still, stationary areas, but for the purposes of securing coverage in loud/windy/scary places it’s not ideal.

    Only the cover
The seller needs to emphasize – this is ONLY THE COVER. The pictures make it look like you get the cage- and not even really the cover- then looks like you get protective gloves- and those are not included either- I sent it back. The cover seems in decent shape to be used as you would- but I didn’t use mine.
