Food and wading pool stays 99% cleaner without her dragging shavings in those areas.
I bought two of these for our box turtle. She was always getting her food and wading pool full of shavings. I bought two and made an “L” shape at the end of her large enclosure. Now her food stays clean and her pool too. Well worth the money. Rather large which was perfect for her enclosure.

Great for beak and claw maintenance
It’s easy to tell when my guy’s on it as it makes a specific sound. It isn’t bothersome or anything. I’ve had it for a long time and it’s held up. It helps keep my tortoise’s beak and claws trimmed. It’s a nice size too, easy for his whole body to sit on one end while placing his food on the other. Even his clean up crew likes it. I usually find them hanging on the underside during the day. It’s red easy to clean too. Most stains come off with a wipe.

My Russian Tortoise LOVES THIS!!!!
This is her new favorite thing. Every morning she wakes up and uses the hot plate to stretch her little legs. We’ve got this sitting on top of about 6″ of coco coir, and about 12″ under an indoor floodlight. It keeps the hot area and the dirt under it a consistent temperature and has never reached any concerning levels. It can also be misted to quickly increase humidity. This is a very high quality product and I’m absolutely satisfied.

Worked well for our bearded dragon
I used this in our bearded dragon setup. They are easy to clean, sit level on the installed feet, absorb heat well, and are large enough for our adult bearded dragon to bask easily. When I checked a big box hardware store for the cost of a couple pieces of slate, this ended up being less expensive because I got it on sale.

Made feeding my box turtle so much easier and she loves it for basking. Much better than the assorted slate rocks I bought off Amazon earlier. Gave those to my beardie.CAME WITH 1 BROKEN but returning it was easy and I can’t blame the seller for that.

The material seems very natural but itâs smaller than expected . By the time I place my tortoiseâs vegetables on it thereâs hardly enough space for him to move around on it so he has to walk around outside the plate to eat his food. Because of the size I cannot see it function as a cooling or warming habitat or even have time to grind down his nails. Maybe more suitable for baby reptiles .
