Great smart feeder!!! works well, but a built-in camera would make it perfect
Iâve been using this smart feeder for a while now, and overall Iâm really happy with it. The design is sleek, the lid opens and closes smoothly, and it does a great job keeping the food fresh and preventing other pets from stealing meals. Itâs very convenient, especially in a multi cats household like mine.One thing I really wish it had is a built-in camera. Sometimes I want to make sure that the cat wearing the collar is actually the one eating from it. A camera feature would make it much easier to confirm which cat is using the feeder, especially when Iâm not at home.I also noticed that if the cat stands too close to the feeder, the lid doesnât close properly. Itâs not a big issue, but itâs something to be aware of.Other than that, itâs been a reliable and well designed product that makes feeding time much easier and cleaner. If they ever add a camera function in the future, it would be absolutely perfect!

Itâs PERFECT!
My oldest kitty, Donut, was recently diagnosed with urinary crystals and requires to be on prescription food that other kitty, Mabel, cannot be on. He is also not allowed to eat her food to try and keep everything under control. Feeding them at certain times was difficult to do as Mabel is a big foodie, and if Donut didnât eat all of his food, she would eat it all. So after much research on the many different covered automatic feeders, I decided on purchasing two of this one. It is a bit expensive but absolutely worth the price, and the kitties took up to it immediately!The setup isnât too hard as long as you follow along with the booklet they provide, then the PETLIBRO app does the rest. Very simple and easy to set up.What I like about it is that it only opens for the specific cat whose tag you register to it. Mabel did try to bite her way into Donuts bowl, but was unsuccessful thankfully. That proves how durable it is!!! I also like that you can set up meal times to automatically dispense at a certain time at a certain amount. If you free feed, this is still possible to do per pet if you just keep track of how much food has been eaten and just refill when it gets low. You can set dispensing schedules by day and time and if you prefer for the kitties to get fed a certain amount 3 days a week and differently the other 4 days, you can absolutely easily set it up that way. The ability to also put batteries into the feeders to allow it to work in case of a power outage is a lifesaver!! If you have a kitty that is also food crazy, you can adjust the cover closing times and speed to try and help ensure that the other kitty does not steal food. Iâve also placed the feeders in different rooms to avoid this.While there are a lot of pros, there are a few cons but it isnât necessarily a deal breaker for the overall feeder. If you schedule meal times, if the kitty hasnât eaten the full amount, it will obviously pile onto the food in the bowl already. If your kitty isnât much of an eater, the food will pile up and cause the dispenser to get blocked. Itâs easy to fix, as I usually just open the cover in the app and use my finger to pull the blocked food down. For my kitty who doesnât eat a ton, I have turned off scheduled feeding to avoid this from happening and just refill when it gets low. This isnât a deal breaker whatsoever as he is still getting the food he needs! When setting up, the feeder also does talk, which may be startling for some skittish kitties. Luckily, my kitties were not fazed by it; although, I did completely turn down the voice as soon as I could to avoid them getting scared if it did talk for any reason. Lastly, the last con is the often changing and cost of the desiccant bags; although, there are alternatives that you can find online and use in place of the PETLIBRO branded bags that work just as good.Overall, this is a great product given my situation! It does its job perfectly and helps keep my mind at ease that my kitties are getting the food they need. 100% recommend!

Works as intended but I experienced a few issues
The feeder does what it claims to do. Itâs extremely easy to set up and put together. My 13 year old cat also adjusted to it pretty easily too as you can adjust how fast or slow it opens. (Recommend slow for unsure animals). The food capacity is good. It holds roughly 1/2 of a 4 pound bag.I do have a few issues with the feederâ¦- I wish it opened further as it covers about 1/8-1/4 of the dish. This is difficult for a cat especially if they experience whisker fatigue.- I also wish the measurements were easier. I have it set at cups however, itâs in 12s. I had to measure out with a measuring cup exactly how much I needed because the vet has him on a strict calorie intake diet. For reference on how confusing it is 1/4 cup is 3/12s and 1/3 cup is 4/12s. This has made it very difficult to work with his vet to give him the appropriate calorie intake.- I want to caution that this is not a fix all if you have multiple cats. My cats do stand next to and around him. They try to grab food after he leaves before it closes. (They havenât been successful) In addition, at 13 yrs old he gets tired and likes to nap next to the feeder. This opens the door leaving the food exposed for the others. THIS IS NOT ISSUES WITH THE FEEDER. Just issues Iâve observed with my cats specifically. You may or may not encounter them.Aside from that it is a good feeder and opens every time without fail. It even holds up to the other cats trying to open it which is great because heâs on a prescription diet. A ring is also provided if you want to use a different collar with the RFID tag.

One of our indoor cats would always wake up up around 4am wanting to be fed. He would knock stuff off our chest of drawers. Now we have an automatic feeding time for 4am & 6am I dont even have to get out of bed so early anymore and hes stopped knocking stuff off to get our attention for bickies haha worth every cent! Cute how you can record your voice too. Highly recommended!

Got this for our cat due to the fact she would beg for food from us very regularly. She still does somewhat, but she understands she’s not getting food from us. She more so waits around and books it to the feeder when she hears the food “splash” into the bowl. It works well, and hasn’t had any jam ups. We only feed a single portion 4 times a day, setting the portion size and time was very simple. We did measure a portion size roughly, and it seems like it’s around 14ml or so. I can’t imagine it’s going to be flawlessly 15ml every time, but neither is a human scooping food.

Lo compré para mi cachorro para cuando no estoy y le toca comer.Me costó un poco programarlo la primera vez pero una vez que le agarras el modo ya es muy fácil y rápido.La voz grabada suena alto y bien y al principio es muy útil hasta que el animal se acostumbra a usarlo.Estoy muy feliz con el alimentador.El único pero que le pongo es que tiene un tamaño fijo de croqueta y cuando mi cachorro cambié a alimento de adulto probablemente ya no me sirva.
