Inexpensive, easy to set up and use. My turtle loves it! Generates a good amount of heat. I turn it down during the day because my turtle will move away when she gets too hot.My turtle became sick and the vet is making me put her in a tub in the house (she normally lives in an outside pond). This light came quickly and required no set up. It clips to the side of her hospital tub and she loves basking under it. The vet said that she needed heat and UV, so this fit the bill perfectly without any complicated set up.Sheâs healing slowly but weâll need to keep her here for many weeks. The easy clip on and off of the lights is important as we need to unclip it to give her daily water changes.

These lamps don’t last more than 3 to 9 months.
Just like every other lamp ordered that comes outta China. I just bought this lamp in January 2025.Its a double neck lamp. Just two days ago one of the lamp heads burned out. I made sure it wasn’t a bulb . I tested all four bulbs that came with the lamp in the one side that is still working and the bulbs are not burned out. Now I’m gonna try and get my 1 year warranty from this company. If I can, I will update the review and let everyone one know if they are gonna keep their end of the bargain. However…There is no email only the physical address in the leaflet instructions that came with the product. So I guess I gotta track it all down. I’m done with these lamps. The first one bought from a different company blew out in less than 3 months, no warranty on that one tho.. same from China of course. Also the lamps get too hot on the outside and could cause a fire. It even states that in their leaflets in other words tho. These can burn down your house, kill your poor animals and you too, if you don’t keep it monitored! I shouldn’t have to worry about my turtle getting hurt!!!

Works well
Works well for my small mourning gecko tank. I cannot adjust the dual bulbs to the best places they love to bask. I wonât use the red bulbs but works great for day time. And thatâs usually where you can catch the babies chilling out is on the glass right next to it.
