The cat certainly seems to approve of this item. He enjoys scratching his nails on it and finds it to be an exceptionally comfortable place for a nap. The assembly was quick and easy, and it offers great value, being crafted from quality wood. It has become one of his favorite possessions.

Cats love it!
This scratcher hammock really cute. It took less than 3 minutes to put together and came with the required tool.My cats generally ignore any scratchers, but they have used this one occasionally. Itâs held up their chonkiness with no problem.

Good for small-medium cats, requires assembly
Overall, this scratcher is fine for my 9 lb cat. She likes scratching on it and sitting in the middle. However, I don’t know that it would work for a large cat. The sisal panel is held just up by the two ends, and while it does have another bar at the bottom for stability, I’m not sure I would trust it to hold up under a larger cat’s size/weight. My cat also isn’t an aggressive scratcher, and I’m not sure how long this would last if your cat really shreds things.Note that this product requires assembly, which at the time of this review, is not clear in the product description. They do include a small screwdriver so you have everything you need to put it together. Using their screwdriver, I had it assembled in about 10 minutes, but it would be faster with a regular screwdriver or drill. Oddly, the manufacturer made the decision to put orange labels on the outer facing side of the frame panels. I was able to remove most of those, but one shredded and left adhesive behind which was frustrating. Not sure why they didn’t just put those labels on the underside where no one would see them after assembly…Since this is all natural materials, it didn’t have any noticeable odor out of the box and I don’t have to worry about my cat ingesting plastic or other chemicals that sometimes seem present in other scratchers. For my 9 lb cat, it’s plenty stable and so far has held up well under regular use.

Overall nice product
nice product! To be honest, I find the price a bit high for the overall product. My cats were not interested at all. The scratching material isnât as secure, which makes it wobbly for cats to be on. Easy to put together.

The construction feels rock-solid, thanks to that fancy rubber wood frame from Thailand and high-quality sisal scratch surface (no accidental wobbles or weird chemical smells here). Itâs the kind of thing you can leave out and feel a little smug about, especially knowing everything is biodegradable except a few screws.My cats? Well, they were a little âmehâ at firstâfull-on âIâll just sharpen my claws on your chair, thanks.â But after a good sprinkle of catnip, suddenly it was the hot spot: lounging, scratching, and all the dramatic kitty poses. The roomy size means even the chonkiest feline can sprawl out or curl up. If your furball is picky, a little catnip magic might be the answer, but overall, Iâm impressed with both quality and design!
