An economic alternative to buying a pH meter
I intended to purchase an electronic pH meter to measure the pH of lacto-fermentation brine. The reviews were all pretty bad, so I decided to buy this kit and it works great for me. It measured a pH of 3 which was what it was supposed to be at the end of the fermentation process.

Easy to read results of test strips
I bought these test strips to test the ph of cleansers and they work great. The results are easy to read.*The test strips in the picture are dried so the colors are a little off from when they were originally checked.

Completely inaccurate and poorly designed product.
The color almost instantly runs into the liquid you are testing, particularly the blue. If you leave the strip in a glass of water for more than 2 seconds your water will look distinctly blue. Also, what is more concerning is I checked the accuracy against a recently certified Mettler Toledo pH meter and these strips read almost an entire grade low. The strip was clearly showing pH 7 while my meter was showing 8.2.these strips are completely useless. You might as well just try imagining what the pH is instead of measuring it with this product. You’ll probably get a more accurate measurement that way.
