Great gift for kids not into cartoons- realistic horse that looks great with decor!
My 16 month old daughter loves anything horse related so I had to get her this. Right away when we opened it she loved combing it and playing with the hair, and I think she loved it so much because itâs so realistic looking. Not like a cartoon. I love that she could appreciate it now as a baby but also grow into it to learn how to care for some thing and groom it. I love the idea that she can learn how to braid hair and learn hairstyles without having to compare herself to a female form that is too often unrealistic! Itâs super fun to do it on a horse that has gorgeous hair! Love this product, might buy the other colors too! Makes a great gift I think.

Favorite resent for 8-year-old horse lover!
This was a hit. The gift was for an 8-year-old who loves horses and is just getting into her own hair styles. She immediately started trying out different braiding styles on this beauty. It has occupied her for many hours and I think it will continue to help her try out new styles. The curly adornments were a little difficult to put in the hair even for us adults and especially for her since she is left handed, but eventually we got them in. There are plenty of styling bands and such.I’m not saying it will take the place of a new horse, but it will make sure she knows how to style the mane when she gets one. ;P

I purchased this as a gift for a 5 year old. She was so excited when she opened the box. She immediately started playing with it. I watched her for over 30 minutes brush the hair, add barrettes, etc. She made all kinds of plans for the styles she was going to do. She even told me that she was going to watch videos so she could learn to braid. Her mom told me that it has been a hit all week long and they even watched a video that Breyer has on how to braid. She loved the little styling guide that came with it and said she wants to have her mom do some of the styles on her. This was a great purchase!

What a Hack Job!
I know this is an kids toy, but I bought it as decor for an event. I know nothing about hair, but after taking out the bands this thing looked like a kid already went to town with a pair of scissors. The hair was completely uneven and choppy. Still a nice looking bust, though.

Cute, Cool, & Lots of Hairstyles
Bought this for my daughter who is 7. She has other Breyer toys that we love so we knew this styling head would be no different. Itâs great quality. The skin is smooth, the hair is silky, and the idea book it comes with is pretty cool too.
